A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

What if it were really true? What if you woke up one day and money really were no object? How would you change your life? Would your life change? Would it be better? Worse? Can money really buy happiness?

Let's *play like* today (and tomorrow) we can have absolutely anything in the world that money can buy.
Money's no object. What would you buy? Pretend we've already saved the world with our vast wealth, and now we're ready to spend it foolishly and selfishly. :)

Would you buy a bigger house?

Perhaps your own private island...

How many of these would you own?

Vacation around the world

You have a summer home, a winter home, a
beach house, a bungalow in the mountains....
You travel to exotic, faraway places and
stay in nothing but 5 star hotels and resorts.

AND...of course, only the best tables...
in the very finest restaurants will do.

For those who want company while shopping!

I'm a lumberjack and I'm OK
I sleep all night and I work all day.

Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

I cut down trees, I eat my lunch
I go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays I go shopping and have buttered scones for tea

Mounties:
He cut down trees, he eat his lunch
He go to the lavatory.
On Wednesdays he go shopping and has buttered scones for tea.

Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

I cut down trees, I skip and jump
I like to press wild flowers.
I put on women's clothing and hang around in bars.

Mounties:
He cuts down trees, he skips and jumps
He likes to press wild flowers.
He puts on women's clothing and hangs around in bars?!

Chorus:
He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

I cut down trees, I wear high heels
Suspenders and a bra.
I wish I'd been a girlie, just like my dear papa!

Mounties:
He cuts down trees, he wears high heels?!
Suspenders...and a bra?!

...He's a lumberjack and he's OK
He sleeps all night and he works all day.

...He's/I'm a lumberjack and he's/I'm OK
He/I sleep all night and he/I work all day.

Hi, good to see you today. Thanks for the nice compliment.

I'd train for probably 6-8 hours a day, 5 or 6 days a week for a while.

WOW! That's an ambitious goal!

It's not too ambitious if you like what you're doing. I'd do it for a year or two only though.

LOL! Poor dog - he/she looks so embarrassed.

Beautiful job on the Opener Billie, also loved the pledge.

Thanks, Aqua. It's kind of fun being rich and famous for a day or two. :)

Sorry about that

I forgot to put the < P > in so it wouldn't widen the comment space.

Thank you so much for the loverly work!!!!! and I know this was a scramble variety..you are awesome.

Ah, thank you, Dolly. As I said in FR mail Sunday night, I had a pretty good start - had the backgrounds and the heading done, and had started saving pics. I wasn't sure how I would put it together, but as you know, my original threads are not real *wordy*, so just tried to make the pictures do the work. :)

will ping a few & then I have to pack & make arrangements for Oliver (he would like to go to Rodeo drive also) for the trip. Is Dutchess piloting us????

Of course Oliver can go with us - we can dress him up like the greyhound in Aqua's pic above. LOL! Oh, I gave dutchess the week off - one of my *other* pilots will be flying today. :)

We will make it a VERY large addition & three "sweet" ladies will share the abode. We can take turns in the "war zone"

Hi, Noosie - thanks! Am glad you think so.

I would build a big log cabin somewhere in Montana and would enjoy traveling to some places I always wanted to go to,but can't because of money or the lag there of.;)

Ah-ha! I know just the builder for you! Calling The Mayor, builder of fine Log Cabin Homes. :)

Thank goodness for that! :)

Absolutely - today we can dream - a little or a lot. :)

And I'm so glad that you are enjoying the life you have now - you have *really* stopped to smell the roses. :)
