It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

Welcome to TGIF at the Finest!   We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; our weekend threads now start on Friday and continue through Sunday. I really enjoyed so much the thread that Billie worked so hard to showcase your newly found/improved HTML skills. It is so easy just to take for granted when you see the classy presentations and not realize all the work that went into it. Just like the weekend post. There is a LOT of HTML in in. Now that you are doing these works, you are among those that "get it".. understand it is not as easy as it looks.

Good afternoon, everyone. I turned in the grades for my class this morning, so I'm officially finished with summer school now. :-) I'll get a little bit of a break before the fall semester starts.

I've always loved fried hushpuppies and since Ga Peach, Southern Belle, etc. was already taken I decided to go with a food name. It was my CB handle years ago too....back in the olden days! ;o)

I'd love a logo if you can come up with something. I've been thinking about it but don't have any ideas yet. Next step is to have CW give me some lessons on how to post one when I get it. Thanks for the warm welcome.
