It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay or a profile of another FReeper.

Welcome to TGIF at the Finest!   We hope you've been having as much fun as we have with our essays and/or spotlight on various FReepers. From the beginning, we've been kicking back on Saturdays and Sundays and simply reviewing the features of the week; our weekend threads now start on Friday and continue through Sunday. Thanks WVNan. I'm proud to be part of the GRITS (Girls Raised in the South) Clan. I live NE of Atlanta but it's moving closer to us every day. WV is beautiful and I envy the cold weather and snow sometimes. Right now we have heat, humidity and lots of pesky mosquitoes!

Millie and LouieMax both adore PrissyMissy but Junior is not sure what to think of her. She tries to tell him what to do and he just looks at her. :)

We are so happy to get LouieMax back. It seemed that part of our family was missing when we got home.

Oh, from what I heard it was certainly a vacation for amy and Lori (And marissa AND et al)

This one bittersweet...a week at my folks place (week and 1/2 for dad...have one of his "caregivers" coming up so we can get home for work) We did our first weekend there last month...the first after mom died...and it went okay. The place is really lovely and it's time to go and enjoy and remember all the great times we've had there the past 30 plus years. The healing process is an amazing thing. One step forward two steps back...another step forward.... I'm sure I'll have my moments as will dad...but that's part of life

BTW...Things like this make me especially appreciative of what you Mr.WVN and all our spiritual advisors do. ((((nan)))))

thanks for the "free" website Huspuppie.. looks quite interesting. with my financial situation here "free" is most attractive!

Please post pix of your pooches.. we are animal folks here. I have one dog & a LOT of kitties. Oliver is my first dog ever & I got him a short time after 911. found him abandoned in a river. I did a thread on his rescue. will possibly post the link for you later (if I can find it) My organizational skills are a bit lacking.

Max looks like a lab Amy.. pretty guy & so are the other two. Nice family of pooches. My oliver can easily clear a 5' fence. The newest gift from God to the SPCA???. shame on Mr. Just Amy for even thinking it!!!

I had to laugh about the sewing machine on the top shelf in closet. in my weird mind I envisioned it falling atop me as I fumbled about in a closet. too many corny movies i guess.

Please check out the Lance thread. I know you aren't up to biking at this point. Hope your time frame for more freedom from casts etc works out.

Bummer to have that happen in summer. (not that it would be fun in winter)
