NY TIMES INVESTIGATES ADOPTION RECORDS OF SUPREME COURT NOMINEE'S CHILDREN
**Exclusive**
The DRUDGE REPORT has uncovered a plot in the NEW YORK TIMES' newsroom to look into the adoption of the children of Supreme Court Nominee John G. Roberts.
The TIMES has investigative reporter Glen Justice hot on the case to investigate adoption records of Judge Roberts two young children, Josie age 5 and Jack age 4, a top source reveals.
Judge Roberts and his wife Jane adopted the children when they each were infants.
Both children were adopted from Latin America.
A TIMES insider claims the look into the adoptions are part of the paper's "standard background check."
Roberts young son Jack delighted millions of Americans during his fathers Supreme Court nomination announcement ceremony when he wouldnt stop dancing while the President and his father spoke to a national television audience.
Previously the WASHINGTON POST Style section had published a story criticizing the outfits Josies and Jacks mother had them wear at the announcement ceremony.
One top Washington official with knowledge of the NEW YORK TIMES plans declared: Trying to pry into the lives of the Roberts family like this is despicable. Childrens lives should be off limits. The TIMES is putting politics over fundamental decency.
One top Republican official when told of the situation was incredulous. This cant possibly be true?
Developing...
They're desperate and it's showing.
I doubt that.
This nothing more than talking points for the Democrats.
You're right about how interesting genetics can be. My granddaughter is 1/4 each Irish, Italian, Armenian, American Indian. Her mother is very exotic looking with dark complexion and green eyes. She is fair, with sandy colored hair and big blue eyes. Still waiting to see what my new (3 month old) grandaughter will look like....she's 1/4 each Irish, Italian, Spanish and Norwegian! Can't really tell her coloring yet. I think it's awesome thinking about the spectrum of looks in this new global world of ours.
The writer seemed to me to be irritated because the kids weren't wearing "everyday" clothing of the Gap variety, like "most children" wear. I guess she missed the fact that the children were at the White House, where their father was being nominated for the Supreme Court. The liberals cannot seem to grasp the idea that some people might actually have some respect for these institutions and think they are worth dressing up for, even for wearing something nicer than the Gap. Of course, we all know Bill Clinton's dress code for the office, so who can be surprised.
Well if your talking about people not knowing the ethnic makeup of our various neighbors to the south I agree. I attribute it to people being Midwesterner's, Northeasterner's, Southerner's, etc. I live in California, so you can be damn sure I am aware of the ethnic makeup of Mexico, and plenty of other Central/South American countries. Basically, a lot of freepers living in places with a lot less diversity have a long way to go as far as geography, ethnicity, and immigration in general are concerned.
It's the same ignorance that leads some Freepers to intone that all Mexican's are hard working God fearing Christians, doing jobs the Americans won't do. Please... It obvious they know maybe two.
I think perhaps you miss my point. There is no shame in attending Mass more than once a week.
They just can't stand Bush calling the shots.
So they attack, smear and insult.
It only reflects badly on them.
Could you put this back in breaking news?
My sister's son is Blond and blond can be, her girls have brown hair and did even at birth! The Roberts kids are very cute and I am glad they are to little to know what is going on.
"The Roberts kids are very cute and I am glad they are to little to know what is going on."
Amen to that!!
Going after Roberts kids? This is disgusting. But what else would you expect from liberals?
Please reread my post.
I believe I was doubting that Matthews would get the point.
Had nothing to do with attending church.
Your comment, at #7, speaks for me as well.
Okay, I get your point. We will see. It just strikes me as something no one with a soul would condone.
"Haitians speaking French Creole."
Nothing at all against their people, but Haiti (the poorest country in the Western hemisphere) and Vietnam are sad vestiges of French imperialism.
Of course I have not been to DU and seen what they have to say
