Libertarians upset about a Supreme Court ruling on taking land have proposed seizing a justice's vacation home and turning it into a park. It would fit the Kelo criteria much better if it were converted to a shopping mall or a Wal-Mart rather than a park since tax revenue will be much higher from a commercial entity. Arguing for a park seems to me quixotic at best.

They would make a better case if they wanted a hotel

Justice Stephen Breyer
Call it eminent domania.
Public outrage over the recent Supreme Court ruling allowing governments to seize private property and give it to another private party has spread to a second justice whose home is now targeted for confiscation.
Justice Stephen Breyer has joined his high-court colleague David Souter in feeling the wrath of the public, specifically the Libertarian Party of New Hampshire, which wants the city of Plainfield, N.H., to seize Breyer's 167-acre vacation retreat by eminent domain.
(It's about time for the PEOPLE to rise-up and defend their rights since the Republican Party is too crippled with compromise to stand up for the PEOPLE!)
ONWARD with American Citizens' OUTRAGE and PROTEST against the unconstitutional tyranny imposed by the Supreme Court of a subversive *agenda marxima* which divests American citizens of their constitutionally guaranteed rights to private wealth, capital & assets, and personal property.
Impeach the Supreme Court justices who are pro-Marxist basturds - they have lost their entitlement to a tenured supremacy.
Neo-Marxism (pseudo-liberalism) seeks to disenfranchised the vast American conspiracy - the middle-class.

There is NOTHING more fundamental to individual liberty than property rights. The ruling by SCOTUS was an abomination. I know this is all talk and in the end Breyer and Souter won't be touched. I know it just as I know that I wish I was wrong.

These Socialsits Judges could care less about their property, they are out to destroy our Constitution and our wasy of life here in America. They have other Homes, they could care less about yours!

The Supreme Court's 5-4 court ruling said municipalities have broad power to bulldoze people's homes and put up shopping malls or other private development to generate tax revenue. Two down, three to go!

Thanks for the ping, this is a feel good article. However I sure wish they would go for their main residence. Might make them feel it a bit more. I am still in shock over this outrageous ruling, what were these morons thinking anyway.
