California's Department of Homeland Security is warning hospitals in Los Angeles and San Diego of a possible terrorist attack. The department says it received "uncorroborated information" in early July that Al Qaeda has planned attacks in Los Angeles and San Diego. It quotes a U.S. government source saying eight trained pilots are already in the U.S., and nearly a dozen Al Qaeda members in California are helping them plan attacks using planes hijacked from Mexico or India. Their top targets are said to include a nuclear facility, a military or civilian airport, or a major hospital. The attacks are said to be planned for September or October. The department says it is warning people even though the information is uncorroborated, so people can keep their eyes open for anything suspicious.

Mexico would be very upset if a hospital in Los Angeles was attacked. Too many of its citizens would be injured, too many staff or patients.
Where do you get this?
After 911 everyone in my neighborhood flew their flags, many still do, daily since then.
The only thing Bush will get blamed for are his open border policies, and lack of border enforcement, compounded by the fact the after 911 he failed to immediately reform our immigration policies.
He is still granting thousands of Visas to people from Mideastern countries.

I dunno about the reaction. Lefties are mostly talk. If they feel personally threatened, I think their self-preservation will kick in; it was easy enough for Kalifornia to talk tough when the blowup was all the way over in NY. They could always blame Bush for not being tough enough on the terrorists to make themselves "happy" about getting tough on terrorists.
Ok, if I see an airliner coming down out of the sky on a collision course with any buildings, I'll be sure to report it.
One only needs to look at NYC to discover the answer to that question.
