According to the Southern Democrats I know....they're "liberal". ;-)
Juan's eyes alway look red and glossy, like he just smoked a blunt ;>
On the FNS panel, Nina Easton points out that the White House is making sure that everyone knows that Judge Roberts is NOT a member of the Federalist Society.
Perhaps that's because a lot of idiot reporters, including Nina Easton yesterday in the Boston Globe, had misreported that he "is a long time member of the Federalist Society".
I think that the reporters have been getting fed information by the left-wing "groups", and it has been garbage.
What I don't understand - the entire media us attacking the WH as if they are guilty of everything, the media will not talk to the grand jury if they have to and they want federal shield law to COVER them of their smear & why republicans, who are in majority go along with them and may even try to pass it?
Yeah, I know plenty of UNC liberal Dimocrats.
Interesting, Nina Totenbert (of NPR) essentially said that Roberts is a great lawyer, is known by the entire DC legal establishment, including dems, and they will all go to bat for him.
Lots of them are saying it - pretty soon we will have all the minority members of the Judiciary Committee on the record as saying the same thing.
When I heard Schumer say it, I thought it was a gotcha moment suitable for a Rush monologue. Now Durbin said it to Russert, and you say Teddy has said it. That's the three big hitters for the dems on the record.
Now that would have the deficit LOL
Sorry, Nina. I misspelled your name.
Juan is whining for a woman...
heh...
my guess is he gets it comped :)
And Bill smacked with Judge Thomas.
Last night friends told us they were upset to hear that Roberts wife was pro choice. I set them straight that she is actually pro life, but this small group of people had all read that she was pro choice.
I've asked them to rack their brains where they read that because I want to write that organization as I'm sure it was a deliberate attempt to stir up conservative dissent.
Stalking points. I like that.
Juan Williams shows his true colors (no pun intended) as a racists/sexist: Roberts is now somehow unqualified because he's a white, male, Ivy Leaguer.
Since we can always count on Juan to spoon feed us the DNC talking points every week--your comment is spot on after listening to Juan's lame protests about Roberts today.
MTP discussing the Plame/Robe (non) scandal.
Tim just did the oddest thing. Rather than disclose that he is one of the reporters involved in the story, he went through an introduction saying "Cooper of Time, Russert of NBC, Miller of the NY Times..." are among the reporters who have testified. He never said "me" or "I" or anything.
Reporters have been despicable in this matter. Russert should have recused himself from discussing it.
