Durbin says the the consultation done by the Prez did not reach the level of that engaged in by Clinton.
Exactly right. They're finding ways to filibuster without filibustering, and they will continue to ratchet up the rhetoric. It's going to be up to the Republicans to squash it, regardless of what name it's traveling under.
Durbin says the high court can change the law.
$$$$
The first time I heard Schumer say "the Supreme Court makes law", in response to a question about why Priscilla Owen was acceptable for a circuit court but not necessarily the Supreme Court, I thought he inadvertantly revealed a truth of his thinking.
By now I have heard this so many times, it is obvious that these dems not only believe the function of the Supreme Court is to MAKE law, they believe that it is OK to say so.
They, once again, are wildly out of step with the mainstream of Americans.
Right on!
LOL. He gets at close as he can.
Do you know when is this idiot up for reelection?
Will Durbin be asked about black ops satellites and why his security clearance should be maintained? Out of principle, will he step down for laking black ops? Ooooops, I forgot. The MSM is on HIS side...
I'm shocked - Timmy is actually doing a half decent job of questioning Durbin - of course, Turban has some pact answers (this is different that when Ginsberg went through the process - Hatch gave Clinton her name - Hatch has tried to respond to that, but I think he needs to do a better job - it's coming back to bite him).
Also showed a clip of Bubba saying his SC nominee would uphold the right to privacy in the constitution. Timmy said if Bubba could base his pick on his philosophy, shouldn't Bush be able to do the same. Dicky-boy said that if Roberts didn't agree w a right to privacy under the constitution, he'd vote against him.
yup , but I betcha the democRATS do something stupid in September when all their requests have been rebuffed
Thanks for that I hope I get to see it later.
That portion equals anyone from 49 1/2 states who watch TV news. LOL! IOW, everybody except NY dem voters.
He just puts their bought-and-paid-for hos on his panel. Just as good.
Make love, not law.
I only know of a handful of conservative dem holdouts here in my part of Alabama. Most all, probably 95%, have moved on to the GOP, especially since 9/11. The ones that remain are very elderly or can't wrap their minds around the fact that their entire party has become the free range of the barking moonbat and leftist tree hugger.
2008
Damn.
thats why I won't give him my cable box vote , if FReepers went to the local fleamarket and purchased an old B&W TV w/rabbitears to watch Timmy , you KNOW his ratings would show it
