Jug Twitty: My President George W. Bush made a good decision.

Posted on 07/20/2005 6:53:12 PM PDT by ConservativeMan55

Those were the words of Jug Twitty on Hannity and Colmes tonight as he ended his interview. He directed his comments toward Alan Colmes.

Twitty was of course referring to the Supreme Court pick of John Roberts.

Alan seemed flabbergasted!!!

Jug is on Scarborough Country right now. Let's hope he drops GW's name again.

LOL! That's great. I hope those aren't their given names.

BTW, I know a guy whose nickname is 'Mustard'. I swear.

The duct tape was sent to Holland today. They said on H&C it would take a week to two weeks to get the results back.

Should have sent it to CSI. They have results within the hour.

There is a woman boarding a flight carrying the duct tape in a suitcase.

Is the flight on an ultralight?

A little history for those who do not know....

In North Georgia there is a county named Dawson County. It used to be way up in North Georgia. You could not pay me to come this far north when I was in high school. Now I live just south of the Dawson County line and we are considered part of metro Atlanta...

I have been told stock car racing got it's start in Dawson County--the Revenue man chasing the moonshiner. In fact, I have been also been told it was not unusual to see the old timers talking shooting the breeze over a beer at the Pool Hall. You got it--The Revenue man and his former prey.

As the crow flies, we are not too far from Alabama.

Jug and Jar--wonder if dad's name was Hooch?

One more thing--nicknames in the South are part of our heritage (see, it's not all about the Civil War). Don't try to understand it-it just is.

Caught that! When he said "my" President made a great choice", Alan was completely dumbfounded and said "he's MY President too" and nearly started arguing with him but the segment ended. What a hoot! A layman befuddling Colmes! Just goes to show the disconnect liberals have with the real people.

I saw the same thing earlier and YES, Alan seemed flabbergasted! A few weeks ago, Alan was in Aruba with the Holloway family and Jug treated him as if he wasn't there. He wanted to talk to Sean via remote. Alan looked very peeved for most of the show.

I am probably the first generation in my Virginia family who actually are known by their given names LOL! My Mom's generation was maybe 50-50.

Among other things, I think that computers have made us standardize names somewhat. A name in one record needs to "match" the names in the other records. Computers don't know that my daughter Margaret is called "Peggy" by most people.

Does anyone know if Jug is British? His accent sounds as such.

No he's not British. He's from Georgia. He does have some contacts I've heard though.

Why does it matter that he likes the president? That is a totally unrelated matter to the crisis he's facing now. Are we conservatives so desperate for acceptance and recognition that we jump at the endorsement of some nobody, just because he's TV nearly every night?

Alan wasn't the only who said this
there were comments made on Larry King that several witenesses have said that she is in Venezuela and has been seen there.

So if this is true than whoever saw her would come forward to claim the Million dollar reward.
