In a story about Roberts I read this:
Mark Levin, author of "Men in Black," a new conservative critique of the Supreme Court, sees no conflict and is a fan of Roberts. "In the short period he has been on the court, John Roberts has shown he does not bring a personal agenda to his work. He follows the Constitution, and he is excellent."
High praise from someone who knows. I'm well pleased with what I'm reading of Roberts (though I still like Edith Jones and Janice Brown or your idea of cloning Thomas)

See my post 115. My initial reaction is, no paper trail again. Another question mark. But if Roberts believes what he argues we're in damn good shape.

I've already read a half dozen posts denouncing Bush for this choice. I've been at odds with Bush on several issues. But, pray tell, how can ANY conservative have a problem with this choice?

If the left makes the fight all about abortion...and they will..it will hurt them big time....I mean, even Hillary doesn't like the "a" word..Agree, Hillary is running for President and the more the dims raise a stink the more the box she is in, is sealed.

There was NO mention of Roberts by anyone (Drudge would have had a note at least) until after 7.
