WASHINGTON President Bush reiterated Monday that if someone in his administration broke the law by talking to reporters about Joseph Wilson's wife, then they would lose their jobs.
"If someone committed a crime, they will no longer work in my administration," Bush told reporters during a brief news conference with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
Bush spoke as media scrutiny continues to focus on what Karl Rove, deputy chief of staff at the White House, told reporters about former ambassador Wilson's wife two years ago when it was first disclosed that Valerie Plame was a CIA operative.

I guess Valery Plame can say goodbye to her job.
when is Plame going to be arrested for subversion and treason?
Stinking, rotten, loser libs.
That says it all.
FOX NEWS: Bush: If Crime Committed, Staffer Will Go
IMPEACH BUSH NETWORK - MSNBC President appears to qualify standard for firing in CIA-leak case
I can't believe she's still at the CIA with her poor judgement.
PilloryHillary, does anyone have the original Bush quote on this issue. I have been looking for it and haven't found it. This is a paraphrase.
Michael Isikoff has finally surfaced from his embarrassment over the Newsweek story that got lots of Mulims killed, about the Koran (bogus story)
What gets this creep to surface? Why the Plame/Wilson/Rove story in Newsweek..
He is on Hannity and Colmes saying he KNOWS that the SP in this case has a case and it is federal laws that have been broken....he is POSITIVE.
So, I guess like the Koran in the toilet, Isikoff is the ONLY one in the world that knows for SURE that Rove has committed federal crimes!
The scumbags will claim to believe this means a parking ticket. I can already hear pelosi calling W a liar!
It's plausible. Her and her husband were a team. My guess is their loyalties were not to the U.S.
Isikoff is a total Clymer. I still wonder if Isokoff was used by the Clintons to break the Monica story to take the heat off of Chinagate? Something about Isikoff has bugged me for a long time. The Monica deal was too pat not to mention Wag the Dog had a girl in a barret on the rope line -- another too convenient happening.
Another FReeper on another thread said she was in France "vacationing" right now.
I can't prove that, though. It was just on a post I read.
not sure.. maybe someone is frog marchin' her...
"If there is a leak out of my administration, I want to know who it is and if the person has violated the law, the person will be taken care of," he said in September 2003.
This compares to the story on Reuters and the one I've heard on radio broadcasts all day:
President Bush vowed on Monday to fire anyone found by a federal probe to have acted illegally in the exposure of a CIA agent, in a shift from a broader pledge to dismiss anyone found to have leaked information in the case.
What a crock!
<< Wag the Dog had a girl in a barret on the rope line >>
Not quite catching this comment.
Let's hope the investigation is about Plame and Wilson, because it would be a cool "October surprise" thing for the 2006 election.
no kidding - if leaking were a crime, a lot of pols would be locked up. now leaking classified info is another story. i don't think it's THAT hard a distinction to draw and understand, except for the MSM.
President Bush in a news conference with the Prime Minister of India -- during a time of war and major geopolitcal challenges and realignment -- and the micro-cephalic media brings up this fabricated non-story. More proof that Leftists are incurably insane and present an extreme danger to the world.
