Guess what? I was playing with my 5 month old granddaughter at the time, and I didn't hear it all--I just heard him get very vehement that the GJ and SP DO HAVE a federal case...
I am sorry I didn't hear whistleblower, but I wouln't doubt it...there show repeats, but pretty late...I'll try to catch it, but you-know-who wakes up early for her bottle..lol

Caught some info on another thread. Isiskoff does have a valid point in that the SP does know the law and is definitely after something. It may not even be the 1982 law being discussed. Anyway, apparently they are going hard after a memo that Colin Powell had on 7-7-03 that stated Plames name. I guess they are looking into how widespread it was distributed. I believe this was just a week or so before Novak's article.

One thing that I've been thinking about, if there is ever an instance of someone exposing a CIA agent to a journalist but that journalist never reports it, was there a crime?
It's an important question because it seems to me that in these matters the journalist holds the power to ruin someone and can set traps.
Any Republican President that would allow Democrat press anywhere near him or his staff is exposing himself to extreme danger and this in turn exposes the country to extreme danger. It should be required of our Republican Presidential nominees in the future to make clear before we elect them that they will not let any enemy press in the White House or have any access to him or his staff. This effectively kills the MSM.
