Bill Cosby has drawn a good judge in Philadelphia.
Last March, in a civil lawsuit, Andrea Constand alleged that Cosby had drugged and groped her at his home.
Constand's suit also claimed that she had been contacted by 12 women who were willing to come forward and allege that Cosby sexually assaulted them in a similar manner.
Attorneys retained by nine of the women had tried to keep the names of their clients a secret for a host of reasons, one of which was fear of a deteriorating bipolar condition brought on by intense media scrutiny.
U.S. District Judge Eduardo Robreno rejected the anonymity arguments, ruling that if the female accusers wanted to accuse a public figure in public they would have to face the public themselves.
The judge wrote that the "allegations of harm by each of the Jane Doe witnesses are unsubstantiated broad allegations."
The Left Coast Report finds it curious that the allegations against Cos seemed to hit just after he spoke out against the so-called black leadership, offered some sound parental advice and told teens to clean up their language.
The sound of air coming out of a shakedown.
You have got to be kidding me! Am I reading that correctly? Are these attorneys really arguing that the media causes a mental disorder?
Very curious indeed!
MSM is a mental disorder
These libs are so transparent.
No they are not. What they are sayng is htat 9 of the women have bipolar disorder and that pressure. any intense pressure will cause the 9 women to become worse in their CON-dition's, which is Bipolar Disorder.
Cos needn't worry. Multiple allegations of boorish behavior towards women only made bill clinton more popular.
Sounds like Sharpton and Jack-ass put out 'da booty-call on on Mr. Bill. Nothing is below these scumbags when it comes to 'maintainin 'da Plantation.
Why not have secret accusers?
It worked so well in the Soviet Union.
Made by an unsubstantiated broad?
Manic/depressive is bipolar. Bipolar is the new name for it as manic/depressive sounded too much like a mental illness.
By the way, I hereby apologize in advance for my insensitive comments regarding people with pchycological disorders.
Apology accepted. BTW that's psychological disorders. (like the compulsion to correct other's spelling mistakes)
Cos is an American icon. I saw his act in Las Vegas, where he performed for an hour without uttering one four letter word.
Let Cosby have his constitutional right to confront his accusers. If he is denied it, he has good grounds to appeal.
Isn't that why RICO laws were passed?
I guess it doesn't apply to "Who's your daddy Jackass Jackson?"
People who issue accusations that are not proven to be true beyond any reasonable doubt should receive the same punishment that the accused would otherwise receive. ...no excuses and no tolerance for false allegations, and make any legislation that passes for such laws retroactive against all accusers, court officers, judges (no immunities), social workers,...
FYI, people with disorders are very wounded people and some have gone through untold horrors as children. And the disorder is how God helped them to survive something they had no tools to handle. It is the natural method the system uses to survive. IMHO
My ignorance of the current pSychological jargon shames me. In the event that the intent as expressed in my snide post was unclear, please substitute some other mental malady. Perhaps kleptomania or Tourettes Syndrome will do.
Apology accepted. BTW that's psychological disorders. (like the compulsion to correct other's spelling mistakes)
Thank you for the acceptance, and the correction. In light of my glaring error, I officially recant my declaration that I would not recant my statement. That done, I also recant my use of 'pchycological' and offer up 'psychological' in its place. And call for a sound thrashing of this board's spell checker for letting me down. ;)
