Good morning, Everyone. Good morning to our
Military, our Allies and their families.
Thank you, Ms. Feather, for preparing the Canteen for today's activities. I really think you should become a full-time Realtor. You find the neatest houses! I saw a couple of nice places in your listings (wink)
I found a few with potential. What do you think?
Darkwing, do you like any of these?
Ok, today will most likely be another quick day for me. I have to leave early to begin my trip to Florida. I'm getting in some practice with the kitties cause I plan on being stretched out on the beach on Saturday. Celtic Lass is going with me to keep me company and help drive. By the time we get back we may be in the running for "fabulously tanned."
So, I hope you will excuse me so that I can get through the Canteen this morning. There are some new faces that I HAVE to give an official welcome (if you are new and you have not gotten one, please let me know.....I don't want to miss anyone).
But, you stay right where you are. Don't touch that dial. Don't change that channel. Put down that remote. Don't leave the room. Keep your eyes on your monitor. Cause...............I'll be bock!
Now remember, the Canteen is
So, come on in and sit for a while. There's alway plenty of coffee, pancakes, conversation, silliness, and plain old BS
REMEMBER THEM
DEFENDERS OF FREEDOM
Today is the day we find out later today what updates will be sent out from Microsoft for Windows later today. Eariler this morning a new addition of the automatice update mechinism was sent to my computer. That may be what Bentfeather received yesterday.
Not much else happening. Following breaking news out of London, thoughts and prayers for those affected.
How's it going, ladies?
7of9, it looks as though terrorists have attacked the London Underground and damaged/destroyed several buses. Prayers for the people of London...
SALUTE!

Today's FEEBLE
YOKE :
It was Saturday morning as Jake, an avid hunter, woke up raring to go bag the first deer of the season.
He walks down to the kitchen to get a cup of coffee, and to his surprise he finds his wife, Alice, sitting there, fully dressed in camouflage.
Jake asks her, "What are you up to?"
Alice smiles, "I'm going hunting with you!"
Jake, though he had many reservations about this, reluctantly decides to take her along.
Three hours later they arrive at a game preserve just outside of San Marcos, Texas.
Jake sets his lovely wife safely up in the tree stand and tells her, "If you see a deer, take careful aim on it and I'll come running back as soon as I hear the shot."
Jake walks away with a smile on his face knowing that Alice couldn't bag an elephant -- much less a deer.
Not 10 minutes pass when he is startled as he hears an array of gunshots.
Quickly, Jake starts running back. As Jake gets closer to her stand, he hears Alice screaming, "Get away from my deer!"
Confused and frightened Jake races faster towards his screaming wife. And again he hears her yell, "Get away from my deer now!" followed by another volley of gunfire!
Now within sight of where he had left his wife, Jake is surprised to see a Texas cowboy, with his hands high in the air.
The cowboy, obviously distraught, says, "Okay, lady! You can have your f#@ken deer! Just let me get my saddle off it!"
