Stick a fork in yourself Mr. Ambassador and let us know when you're done!

Canada's Ambassador Declares War on Fox News

Evidence of the extreme liberal bias in the other newspinion outlets can be found in many places, but none is so satisfying as the outraged screams of liberals that ONE news outlet exists that is NOT liberally-biased.

Manitoba is basically pro-American as well. I wouldn't be opposed to "trading" certain American leftist strongholds for parts of Canada (they have great hunting and fishing!).

He tip toed around the terrorist who tried to cross through B.C. into Washington State in 1998 didn't he????

Les we forget Mr. Ambassador - we have better memories than you give credit for.

Fox isn't responsible for bad relations - the Canadian public is with their whining and whimpering and arrogance and rude behavior.....

Saskatchewan, Alberta, Manitoba, would be keepers, farmland, oil, mining, Tar Sands, and fairly conservative people.

I honestly think liberalism is more of an urban blight than anything else. We have the same problem here in the states. There must be something in the big city water...

The Canadians I know basically detest their government, many of them have travelled to the US for surgical procedures rather than wait months for "universal" health care.

Agreed. FYI:

Mr. McKenna and the federal Liberal party consider the nation to be a "brand".

Here is what The Canadian Ambassador to the USA said recently...

"One aspect of this agenda is to sharpen the Canadian brand in the United States.

I repeat they don’t know us very well.

They like us but they really don’t know us.

So I’m doing outreach visits to cities all across the United States and that supplements the work of all of our consulates and our honorary councils across the United States and we want to go even further than that though and develope a well thought out, well executed branding exercise that will sharpen the focus of the Canadian brand in the United States of America."

I don't remember the title of the article. All I know is that after reading it I wanted to hurl.

I heard his (Paul Martin's) name a lot lately, but I'm curious, what ever happened to Jean Chretien? I thought he was the Liberal PM......

That's just great, another Canadian with his beady little eyes and his flappy little jaw trying to bash something good about America..... And I thought all we had to dislike about them was Bryan Adams and Terrance and Phillip.

I'm beginning to see a connection. The Minneapolis Star-Tribune is also called the Red Star Tribune by people like yours truly. Are they really that obvious? (ha,ha,)

By the way, one of the major papers in Wisconsin is called the Madison Capitol-Times, but there is nothing capitalist about it. In fact in brags on the front page that it is Wisconsin's major progressive newspaper and it's editor-in-chief, John Nichols, is a regular contributor to The Nation.

Times have changed,
Our kids are getting worse
They won't obey their parents,
They just want to fart and curse. Should we blame the government, or blame society, or should we blame the images on tv No!
Blame Canada! Blame Canada

With all their beady little eyes,
their flapping heads so full of lies
Blame Canada!
Blame Canada!
We need to form a full assault, it's Canada's fault! Don't blame me, for my son Stan, He saw the darn cartoon, and now he's off to
join the klan! And my boy eric once, had my picture on his shelf, but now when I see him, he tells me to f*** myself

Well, Blame Canada!

It seems that everything's gone wrong since
Canada came along
Blame Canada!
Blame Canada! They're not even a real country anyway. My son could of been a doctor or a lawyer, it's a true, Instead he burned up like a piggie on a barbecue Should we blame the matches? Should we blame the fire, or the doctor who allowed him to expire. Heck no!
Blame Canada!
Blame Canada!
With all their hockey hubaloo and that bitch Anne Murray too. Blame Canada!
Shame on Canada!

The smut we must stop
The trash we must smash
Laughter and fun
must all be undone
We must blame them and cause a fuss
Before somebody thinks of blaming us!

Jean Chretien retired in late 2003 and made the way for Paul Martin to become the Canadian Prime Minister. Martin is effectively a Philadelphia Democrat when compared with Chretien, who is a bit like a Seattle Democrat (i.e. half an inch more conservative than Chretien).

This doesn't say much about his political orientation in the States but in Canada this means he is broadly on the conservative side in their standards.

Bingo on your post. The issue here IS the liberal minority government, the MSM and the people (or sheeple) that support them. It's tough being a Conservative in Canada right now.

As an aside, I'm very disappointed in McKenna. He is not anti-American and is very well connected with many in the US including the Bush family. He's definitely going about this the wrong way. I can't help but wonder just how reliable the story is. Who can you trust in the media these days?
