I just realized...I mean that.
It's going to come down to this.
I have often argued, as many here have, that when FReepers said they would sit home rather than vote for (McCain, usually, sometimes Guiliani), that such sitting out would put Hilary in the Whitehouse.
But I'm not moving on this.
Amen to that.
I don't know everyones true position here. But there are many out there, that do not want to see that. I think that point is proven by just looking at what we have.
Okay, give me just one name of a poster on this thread who doesn't want to see a conservative smaller government in their lifetime.
Oh don't you know that it's only the KOOKs...errrrr purist, who are really, honest to gosh "conservative" and the rest of us aren't ? LOL
Voting for Clinton is dumb.(No apology here.)
What's against posting rules? I am not calling for a Revolution. For me to say one is going to happen is an opinion and it better not be against posting rules to say so since everything said on this site is an opinion.
Dude, your faith sustains us.</p>
First of all, I hope your family is OK.
Secondly, I doubt there are any posters on this thread who don't see the critical nature of this issue. I can tell you that many of those who have posted on this thread have posted on live Senate threads and we've all suffered the ups and downs of the judicial confirmations and the Bolton mess. Except for the trolls, we're all on the same team -- at least we should be.
Having said that, your husband should know that if you post a vanity threatening to do something stupid like vote for Hillary, your going to get flamed. Instead of posting something that would help unite those of us who want to see a great Justice confirmed (and the potential problem BTW won't be the President; it'll be the treasonous Republican Senators), he posted something stupid. I'm sure he's better than that, but he lost his head -- something we can't afford to do.
I stand by what I said early on -- this thread is a candidate for Stupid Vanity of the Month. The thread brought out all the crazy Bush-Haters; now, even the Losertarians will descend upon your husband. This is the price to be paid for temporary insanity.
None of this is personal. Your husband sounds like a good, loyal Republican and Conservative. Bad Vanity, though. He doesn't really want that shrew Hillary appointing Justices, does he?
This conservative thingy these posters are talking about. What a concept.
Hey, what do you say we head on over to the country club and play a few rounds.
:)
No, PhiKappaMom doesn't owe your husband an apology and neither is she "lazy" nor boasting of her superiority; unlike your husband. She's also got more class in her small toe, than anyone you've ever met or lived with.
I read your first sentence. I also read your second sentence.
I'll repeat my request since you haven't answered it.
Give me just one name of a poster on this thread who doesn't want to see a conservative smaller government in their lifetime.
Calling for a "revolution" is against posting rules. You did so in a sneaky, underhanded way. And now, you're attempting to weasel out of it.
Hey......find out what actually IS Conservative and what's just fringe KOOKDOM, before you try to make a post about it. ;^)
I'll repeat my request since you haven't answered it.

Here is what I said below. I don't think it's that complicated
"I don't know everyones true position here. But there are many out there, that do not want to see that. I think that point is proven by just looking at what we have".
Again, I have no idea what everyone's true position is here. I doubt that anyone does.
My point is there are people out there, in the Republican party that have no desire to see a smaller, less intrusive, conservative government. Looking at what we have, would you disagree?
Blah, blah, blah.
You can read into it what you want but I believe you may want to check your meds.
Exactly.
Local talk radio uses a promo for not Rush or Sean - another host, sorry - and he said last fall:
"If Americans vote for John Kerry they will pay with their lives".
Stay the course - supreme court justices can be impeached. Just keep voting dims and rinos out of congress and watch.
That was my point.
I was walking the walk and talking the talk and FREEPING damned Commies and hippies and Yippies...
That was my point again.
