In the middle of the night, an Iraqi man leads U.S. troops to a weapons cache.

FORWARD OPERATING BASE WARRIOR, Iraq, July 1, 2005 — Based on information from an Iraqi civilian, U.S. soldiers from B Company, 3rd Battalion, 116th Armor Regiment, Task Force Liberty discovered an unexploded ordnance cache in the Kirkuk Province June 29.

“By far, this is the biggest weapons cache the 116th has found,” said U.S. Army 1st Lt. John Thew, B Company, 3rd Battalion 116th Brigade Armor Regiment. “We have found in one day, what usually takes four months.”

“By far, this is the biggest weapons cache the 116th (Armor Regiment) has found. We have found in one day, what usually takes four months," said U.S. Army 1st Lt. John Thew, B Company.

"We received a call that a man wanted to show us where some bombs were," Thew added. “We followed him out to the site in the middle of the night and he pointed to some rounds. After assessing the situation,-------

Good for them.

I'll bet they're getting pretty tired of foreigners blowing them up on a daily basis.

Way to Go!!!

Maybe they should have just sent Kerry in to "nuance" the situation and negotiate with the terrorists. Or better yet, have John Mcain have a senate hearing to see if the Democrats WANT us to take the weapons. I guess, Michael Moore didn't want to do a film about this find. (He was probably afraid).

Just more news about the "quagmire". It will be written up in the NYT as "Some weapons found, but they aren't the WMD's. Democrats were right again."

The MSM will never report this. However, there will be more and more of this happening in Iraq.

Also, good citizens of Iraq will start offing the outsiders who come to Itaq to kill and harm their families.

What do you intend to do with all of that rusted, and dirty cruddy ammo. Have a big 4th demonstration, and set it all off.

The irresponsible behavior of the MSM in the WOT has been awful.

Hopefully, their arrogance and willingness to lie and to forget good news will cost them millions of viewers and subscribers.

You can bet that Reid, Pelosi and their brownshirt comrades are drafting the paperwork for a "probe" and demanding that the name of this Iraqi civilian be turned over to them so they can get it to their toadies at the NYT.

I think it already has. Their reduced readership has put them in the doldrums, hopefully for good.

...people from the mixed Sunni and She'at neighborhood called 55 times and provided tips to the IP about the movements of the terrorists. Yes, 55 phone calls in less than 2 hours and if this doesn't show the real attitude of Iraqi citizens towards terrorists then I don't know what can! But still, the Guardian wants us to believe that the insurgents are winning.
How disgusting!"

If people took the time to read the Iraqi bloggers this is reported all the time.
