Here's an update of the info I posted last week. 50 people showed up, so obviously the same "Unwashed 37" that show up to every meeting of wacko-s were on hand.
"To restore spirits, attendees spoke of protests in Madison during the Vietnam War era and grassroots efforts that they said were influential."

They planned the war before they went," Buzz Davis of Veterans for Peace.
Well, isn't that a newsflash Captain Obvious? I'd be for impeachment myself if they just up and went to war without doing some planning beforehand.
If this guy is a veteran, I'm King Henry VIII.

Plenty of other folks far more deserving of impeachment:
Ted Kennedy, JF Kerry, Dick Durban, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, etc..

"They planned the war before they went," Buzz Davis of Veterans for Peace said prior to the meeting referring to the series of memos that describe talks in 2002 between the British and U.S. governments during the lead-up to the war. I thought the argument was that they DIDN'T plan the war before they went.
On a seriously scary note, the republican mentioned seems to think impeachment is the appropriate response if you are dissappointed in an officeholder.
I think they confuse "impeachment" with "recall". Of course, there is no recall provision for the federal government.

"At Wednesday's meeting, organizers explained impeachment and made the case that the Downing Street memo is evidence that the process should start." Uh-huh, sure.
Do these idiots know that VP Cheney would then become the President for the rest of the term? Would Ms. "lone Republican" feel that he represents her if she thinks President Bush doesn't?
