said Giblock, 63. "His poll numbers are so low, he's got to say something, but the support is gone. It's gone. I don't think there's anybody in here who's behind him."
I wonder who is feeding him this information?

This guy has got to be a DUer! Sounds exactly like what they say on their website.

VFW Post 2500 in Hollywood Sorry, their location removes all credibility ... apparently they have drank the liberal Hollywood poison. Sad to see a group of vets, who are in enemy territory, become traitors to their commander in chief so quickly.
Anyway, the country is still behind Iraq, and thank goodness we are NOT represented by VFW post 2500 in Hollywood.

ABCNBCCBS, this is their demographic, and don't forget Bush is going to take away these guys SS too.

Senility plays a role in the attitude of most people. Why do we assume "veterans" are exempt? Weak minds, easily led by the opportunists.
Of course people staring their own mortality in the face have an unapologetic rebellious outlook on life; they are immune from the cowardice thing, and pretty much don't care.
I used to think Walter Cronkite was a giant to be admired, until he passed 68 or so and his true personality came out. Feet of clay. Red clay.

"He's running scared," said Giblock, 63. No he's not.
The only people who are "running scared" are the liberals and those who believe everything the media says.
Well, and the French, of course.

I bet the writer made this stuff up. Or at least cherry picked the comments that would appear in his column. Obviously he had no use for Veterans who were solidly behind Bush.

"We still have thousands of troops in the [demilitarized zone] in Korea 50 years after the fact. It's going to be the same thing 50 years from now in Iraq."
And your point is, Mr Anderson? Ya know? Have you considered, Better there than here?
Members of our local VFW washed Bill Clinton's feet with their tongues when he strolled into town. They have always remained silent during Dubya's terms. Our local VFW is comprised of enormous numbers of die hard Democrats.

These old farts need to shut up. It is amazing how when you get to be this old you turn so liberal.

Hollywood FL is in Broward County which is still big-time 'Rat Country.

30-35% of veterans voted for Kerry. Of course the defeated liberal media can find 4 or 5 veterans to bash President Bush. But the extremely delusional and idiotic conclusion that the opinions of 5 veterans are representing the opinion of millions of veterans is another blatant lie and distortion form the defeated liberal media.

Who's running scared Mr. Giblock? Our commander in chief and by extension, our troops? What a disgusting, hysterical comment from a man who should know better. Grow the hell up Mr. "Veteran" and stop reading the local rag and watching CNN and most important of all, get a grip. This is the guy that Patton would have slapped across the face. Typical doom and gloomer.

Nothing sadder than an old vet who's lost his nerve.
