Backing for Bush on Iraq is gone, local veterans say (Barf alert)

The televisions at VFW Post 2500 in Hollywood were tuned to President Bush on Tuesday, but his words weren't getting rapt attention.

"I think Bush had the right idea, but now it's turned into a religious war for some people there. And that's the worst kind of war to be in.

"The thing is, Bush is committed, so he's got to stick to his guns. But at some point he's got to come up with a plan to get out of there because we're never going to be able to get rid of 100 percent of the terrorists. He's going to have to pull out, just like Vietnam."

Sorry, their location removes all credibility ... apparently they have drank the liberal Hollywood poison. Sad to see a group of vets, who are in enemy territory, become traitors to their commander in chief so quickly.

Anyway, the country is still behind Iraq, and thank goodness we are NOT represented by VFW post 2500 in Hollywood.

Senility plays a role in the attitude of most people. Why do we assume "veterans" are exempt? Weak minds, easily led by the opportunists.

30-35% of veterans voted for Kerry. Of course the defeated liberal media can find 4 or 5 veterans to bash President Bush.
