The Island is 6 to 7 miles deep by about 20 miles long
B-1 = California Lighthouse - where the boys claim they took her first after leaving the Bar.
D-3 = #4 is the location of the 2 Marriott Hotels - where the 2 brothers (and now Joran) claim they dropped Joran and Natalee off after leaving the lighthouse - the 2 brothers claim they went home to Hooiberg after that.
D-3 = #19 is the location of the Holiday Inn where Natalee was staying.
G-5 = Where the red #2 marker is pointing to is the area that the Carlos & Charlie Bar is located
D-4 = Township of Montana is where Joran lives
F-7/8 = Hooiberg (Haystack Mountain) - The 2 Kalpoe brothers live in this area at the foot of the Haystack Mountian.
C-9 = By the Natural Bridge on the map is the location where the sharks hang out as they are fed at this location. This is the Shark Infested Feeding Area.
E-3 = Wetland in the Bird Sanctuary is the location where they found the Condoms/Condom Wrappers - Duct Tape (looked like black electrical tape to me) - Female Flowered Panties - and a String or Strap from a Bikini or Halter Top.

Damn....it hurts me to listen to her. Seeing Natalees typical teen-age girl things is so painful. Special prayers for her and the family and friends tonight.

I couldn't believe my ears when I heard that Croes didn't know either of the 3. Unbelieveable.
It was only yesterday that Jossy Mansur and I believe Mariaine Croes stating that there would be more arrest.

The suspects are in jail, there have been FBI, Aruban police, residents of the island, Coast Guard and private search organizations combing the island, it has gotten non-stop coverage, and world-wide press attention. The Aruban PM and Dutch government have been interviewed. How can you make this statement kcvl?

Having said that, I would know all the facts regarding my son's involvement. I've got three boys - 21, 17 & 16 - and you can bet your ass if they were out with a young woman who turned up missing the next day I would know all the facts. THAT IS THE PROBLEM WITH YOUR COMMENTS. Why should a group of people (posse in your words) have to come to a house in Aruba to find out what's going on? Surely you would agree with me that if we were in that situation we would have already contacted the police and shown up for interviews (with our attorney).
Had we not done that we should expect to be confronted at the worst possible time...and in this case it happened to be at 3:00 in the morning (with LE present).
Greta asked Croes if he knew Deepak. He said no. He didn't know ANY OF THEM. She asked him if he just made up the alibi for STRANGERS. He said YES. He was just trying to be a NICE PERSON and HELP PEOPLE.
More proof that you don't know what you're talking about, but please don't take that as 'a personal attack'. First of all, the Twitty's didn't do anything to hurt 'their cause'. If it weren't for them going to the VDS's house when they arrived in Aruba, the VDSs would have likely slipped through all legal scrutiny regarding Natalee.
Undoubtedly, you don't know that the Aruban authorities didn't even bother interviewing or investigating who Natalee was last seen with until the Twitty's got to Aruba and exposed their inept 'non-investigation'. Thankfully, the media picked up the story and only because of world-wide exposure did the Arubans start attempting to appear as though they were trying to find out what happened to Natalee. It was Natalee's friends & chaperones who reported to police who Natalee was last seen with, identifying Joran. The police and the Twitty's had been told they witnessed her leave with Joran & the Kalpoes. But the authorities didn't even bother to collaborate and follow up to verify that information! Do you comprende', Toespi?
Once Natalee was reported missing, everyone expected the authorities to follow up and bring in the people who were last seen with her for questioning, but NOOOOOOO. The Dutch good ole boy system proved to be alive and well in Aruba. Nothing happened until Beth and Jug got to Aruba early the next morning and decided to go ask questions themselves. Sure enough, Joran was out again on a school night and it was 3:00 a.m. Do you comprende', Toespi?
PVDS made a phone call and Joran said he was at a casino. When the Twittys and friends went there to talk with him, he wasn't there. Finally, when the Twittys got to speak with Joran, his father kept interrupting, got rude and condesending and told the Twittys, "You are not in the U.S." while repeatedly telling Joran to shut up and not say anything in response to the Twitty's questions. Such a nice guy, huh, Toespi? Parents arrive frantic to ask questions of the last person their missing daughter was seen with and the dad is being an asshole, ordering his son not to say anything or give any information! Do you comprende', Toespi?
In closing, I'll say that your flippant statement regarding the Twittys makes my blood boil. Obviously you haven't kept up with this story or you wouldn't make such an insensitive remark. Must be nice to sit in your velvet chair and criticize the Twittys without knowing all of the facts. I have repeatedly watched Jug Twitty's interview, and the last words I'd use to describe him would be petty and self-absorbed. I do have empathy and compassion for the family having to endure the worst possible nightmare while in a foreign country. It has to be pure torture watching one of the most inept 'investigations' in modern history take place while feeling helpless and wanting justice. Hopefully, they'll be spared reading remarks like yours.
They came out, they were told Nat was missing, they were asked where she was, then they got into telling the son not to answer, being unhelpful and rude. Making excuses for this isn't washing. You see this is not some bad neighborhood in the Bronx. This is Aruba, The sloots knew the cops, they knew who these people were.
Who is 'they'? I thought only PVDS was at home & he was asleep.
Before 'they' came out, they had had a reaction to the disturbance outside. People don't get awakened from sleep at 3 a.m. & think to themselves, 'I don't have any feelings one way or the other about the noise outside.' Emotions don't go into suspended mode like that.
Do you have a transcript of who said what to whom & how they said it?
Of course PVDS knew the police--after he got outside. With the reported shining of spotlights into the house, how much can a person see of what is going on outside, in the dark? He also probably has an opinion of those particular police officers based on historical information. Maybe he thinks they're good cops; maybe he knows them to be otherwise. We don't know.
Your point about it not being a bad neighborhood is partly the point. In a rough & tumble neighborhood, what went down wouldn't be quite so unusual as it was happening in a good neighborhood or, more on the order of stuff to be expected.
