Don't talk to her like that again.
Those were the words of Fox and Friends host Brian Kilmeade. A debate had been scheduled between Debra Burlingan and Richard Tofel.
Debra's brother was killed on 9-11. The debate was over the freedom center. Tofel is the director of the International freedom center.
Tofel was clearly outmatched by Debra. She won every argument. Tofel appeared to be very secretive. After the debate was over and the segment ended Tofel walked up to Debra.
Debra was very emotional at this point. Her eyes had already filled with tears. Tofel walked up to Debra and patted her on the back and said "Nice Try"
Kilmeade followed Tofel back to the dressing room and physically got in the man's face. "You are totally inappropriate. And you will not be talking to her like that again. Do not touch her again"
Tofel refused to leave the building acting like a small child. He was eventually escorted out.
Many folks are outraged because the center is going to be used for left wing propaganda. According to the International Freedom Center's Web site, the museum will "deal with the international impact of September 11," as well as such issues as segregation in America and the Holocaust.
"It doesn't belong at a memorial," said Charles Wolf, whose wife, Katherine, died in the World Trade Center collapse. "You wouldn't put a debate about Nazism and authoritarianism at Dachau."
Center President Richard J. Tofel said that while the causes of the Sept. 11 attacks would not be up for debate, the center would not bar criticism of the United States and its actions.
Brian Kilmeade rules!
Brian Kilmeade is "The Man!"
While he seems like just a sports guy, and he's good at it, he's a terrific interviewer, and he's quite funny, but can get serious, amd more importantly, his will hides a very serious side that he can bring out in an instant.
I especially like the fact that while he has fun on Fox & Friends, he doesn't suffer fools, or people who are nasty.

Bill O'Reilly gave a lot of coverage to the Burlingame-Tofel incident today.
Get the commies out of Ground Zero!
You KNOW -- you just KNOW --- he wouldn't have done that to a man.
Yeah I can't believe the guy would have the nerve to touch her.
Kilmeade is da man! Wouldn't be surprised if he's a FReeper
Perfect...except he needs socks.
(Maybe it's my age, but I think men without socks look sissy.)
He would have pulled back a nub.
To bad Brian didn't take the Tofu bastard out back and kick his a$$.
LOL!
Oh I remember that, I absolutely loved how he challenged her. No one else would do anything but nod and smile at her when she spewed her bile, he shut her mouth. If Brian ever reads this -thanks for standing up to the Holly-nonsense.
Hey, don't laugh! I'm not kidding!
;-)
Richard J. Tofel, President of the International Freedom Center, responds in an op-ed piece in WSJ to Debra Burlingames WSJ article The Great Ground Zero Heist.
Mr. Tofel had this to say with regard the space the IFC will be taking up at ground zero.
Then there will be the Memorial Center, a museum devoted to the events of September 11 itself, with exhibit space roughly equal in size to that at the International Freedom Center. The Memorial Center will tell the stories of the dayof heroism and sacrifice, of rescue and service, of courage and resolution, of memory and loss. It is the Memorial Center that will contain the iconic artifacts of September 11.
That is necessary, but not sufficient.
As envisioned in Daniel Libeskinds master plan for the sites redevelopment, the International Freedom Centers building will serve as a buffer between the sacred Memorial and the hustle and bustle of the surrounding city, including the thousands of people who will move each day in and out of Santiago Calatravas spectacular new transit hub.
But the International Freedom Center itself will do much more than that. It will serve as a complement to the Memorial, bringing a universal narrative of hope to a place where hope is imperative.
To be sure, the International Freedom Center will host debates and note points of view with which youand Iwill disagree. But that is the point, the proof of our societys enduring self-confidence and humanity. Moreover, the International Freedom Center will rise above the politics of the moment. It will not exist to precisely define freedom or to tell people what to think, but to get them to thinkand to act in the service of freedom as they see it. And it will always do so in a manner respectful of the victims of September 11.

Michael Posner, executive director at Human Rights First who is leading the world-wide Stop Torture Now campaign focused entirely on the U.S. military. He has stated that Mr. Rumsfelds refusal to resign in the wake of the Abu Ghraib scandal is irresponsible and dishonorable.
Anthony Romero, executive director of the ACLU, who is pushing IFC organizers for exhibits that showcase how civil liberties in this country have been curtailed since September 11.
Eric Foner, radical-left history professor at Columbia University who, even as the bodies were being pulled out of a smoldering Ground Zero, wrote, Im not sure which is more frightening: the horror that engulfed New York City or the apocalyptic rhetoric emanating daily from the White House. This is the same man who participated in a teach-in at Columbia to protest the Iraq war, during which a colleague exhorted students with, The only true heroes are those who find ways to defeat the U.S. military, and called for a million Mogadishus. The IFC website has posted Mr. Foners statement warning that future discussions should not be overwhelmed by the IFCs location at the World Trade Center site itself.
George Soros, billionaire founder of Open Society Institute, the nonprofit foundation that helps fund Human Rights First and is an early contributor to the IFC. Mr. Soros has stated that the pictures of Abu Ghraib hit us the same way as the terrorist attack itself.
