(6-16) Mr. DURBIN. What I have said is, if you were asked, without being told where this might have occurred, as I said here directly in the RECORD, you might conclude that it was done by one of those repressive regimes because that was the kind of heavy-handed tactic they used, the kind of inhumane treatment in which they engaged. You would be surprised to learn that according to the FBI, it was something that occurred at Guantanamo in a facility under the control of the United States of America.
WRONG!!
Anyone see the word "MIGHT" in his original quote?
(6-14) Durbin: "If I read this to you and did not tell you that it was an FBI agent describing what Americans had done to prisoners in their control, you would most certainly believe this must have been done by Nazis, Soviets in their gulags, or some mad regime--Pol Pot or others--that had no concern for human beings. Sadly, that is not the case. This was the action of Americans in the treatment of their prisoners."
Name them and the dates and circumstances, you LIEberal P.O.S.! Sources too!
You have made the accusation, YOU prove it!
Oh, and don't bother using anything from Amnesia International or any OTHER of the usual anti-American pro-Commie/Terrorist sources. They are as reliable as you and Al-Ja-Jizzbag-zeera!
Were any of these "Prisoners" beheaded? Stoned to death? Slaughtered in wood chippers? Mass graves dug for them? Cry me a river about terrorist scum, cause I will be celebrating EACH and every one of THEIR deaths, as it will save the lives of OUR troops and civilians, as well as others who desire freedom from your poor"detainees" and their Mad Mullahs!
Is wearing panties on the head lethal now? if so, better warn the DNC in advance of the next Kennedy/Dodd soiree!
Where was your deep concern for prisoner tratment when Saddam was having people fed into a wood chipper? Where is your concern over what that high-heel wearing fruitloop in North Korea is doing to his PEOPLE? How about China? Sudan, while Coffe Anus and the UN turn a blind eye?
No? I guess they are beneath your radar...says a LOT for you and your ilk as well.
Imagine that!
Little Dickey "Durban the turban" lied?
I'm shocked! Shocked I say!
The pace of slaughter is accelerating, not decreasing. Before the war began I predicted that a U.S. invasion of Iraq would be counterproductive. Now that my prediction is borne out by the facts, the Bush administration seeks other excuses to justify its "WOT" atrocities, now at least 108 deaths and still counting.
See my post 79 in this thread. The number of dead by U.S. atrocities is at least 108 and still counting.
You've just won a week's vacation at Gitmo.
Please explain how terrorist dying is counterproductive? Would you suggest we line them up, put a bullet in their heart and put them out of their self described misery? Sounds good to me but only after we get all the info we can out of them.
I think I'm going to get on heck of a traffic spike today.
}:O]
You need to call 1-800-WHO-CARES with your 108 stats. I wouldn't care if it was 208. That's still a long way from the 3,000 or so on 9/11.
Your dog does not hunt here - I think you just like that attention, don't you?
Excellent!
Kudos..you should email Rush and Newsmax..
L
And listing "enviromental manipulation" as torture islaughable and extreme!
If that is a standard of torture, the all Americans are tortured unless their houses are 100% air-conditioned...let alone what people living in DESERTS have to endure....are our US Soldiers being "tortured" in the 130 degree weatehr in Iraq?
Cry me a leftist-libeled river!
Where was your complaing over Clinton's Sudan bombing on the eve of BJ Monica's testimony? How about Bosnia? Link to your complaints here please...the shivering world awaits your even-handed tolerance!
LOL. I just dropped back in to see how she was doing.
Excellent idea!!!
If the prisoners complain about having too many hours of light in the summer, we can tell them they have to take up their gripes with the solar system.
Maybe one of the islands off the shore of Alaska could be useful, too.
My family and I went to Gitmo last fall... the leaves change early ...also I recomend you stay at some of the accomodations at Gulag-Land, they were superb.
I know we live in the fast food era of quick results, but it's really too early to know the outcome of the hard work, by our service men and women, to help the Iraqi people.
This is why I love the freerepublic.com
It is so nice to have people so alert to catch this kind of double talk and so informed to have both quotes to publish for us.
