The pace of slaughter is accelerating, not decreasing. Before the war began I predicted that a U.S. invasion of Iraq would be counterproductive. Now that my prediction is borne out by the facts, the Bush administration seeks other excuses to justify its "WOT" atrocities, now at least 108 deaths and still counting.

Please explain how terrorist dying is counterproductive? Would you suggest we line them up, put a bullet in their heart and put them out of their self described misery? Sounds good to me but only after we get all the info we can out of them.

I know we live in the fast food era of quick results, but it's really too early to know the outcome of the hard work, by our service men and women, to help the Iraqi people.
