I saw a report on this story last night on the local Fox News, and there was a woman there who said (my transcription, TiVo is A Good Thing™):
"they was grabbin' everything they could, but I said 'get back! I got him!' and I *wore* him out with that stick!"
I about fell off the couch laughing. She was obviously quite proud, and she should be!
