IMHO...As the prosecutor...Sneddon should have had wittnesses that when they went up to the stand...had a story as solid as the rock of Gibraltar. So soild that no matter what the defense hurled at them...it couldn't be cracked.
That didn't happen. Sneddon sent people up to the wittness box that were damn near criminals themselves. And the defense picked apart their stories piece by piece.
The defense was able to portray the mom as a Grifter...the kids as out of control brats...the hired help that spoke against MJ as money grubbing ungrateful ex-employees.
Hell even Debbie Rowe...one of the DA's "aces" came out favorably for MJ.
Everything the DA tossed out as "proof" the defense was able to counter.
That is why I say the DA "dropped the ball".
I'm just reporting what I have heard and what the MSNBC reporter also observed. I could not possibly evaluate how the case would have turned out without her testimony.

Jeff, most child molestation victims do not press charges. And we are talking about Uncle Bob or Scout Troop Leader Steve. Think how much harder it would be to tell people about being molested by Father McConnahy, let alone the FAMOUS MICHAEL JACKSON? Add parents who feel guilty that they let Michael whine and bribe his way into the boy's bed, and you are not going to get lots of charges.

Yes, someone asked that, and the grocery store woman basically blamed the MOTHER. Like it was only the mother's fault for allowing that, and Michael was home free.
