MILFORD. Ohio -- A 34-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of raping his 7-week-old baby, News 5's Bina Roy reported.
The baby girl also has a broken leg, a broken wrist and bruises on her chest, nose and legs, Roy reported.
The baby's mother, Shannon Sorah, said her husband, Joseph Warner Sorah, admitted sexually assaulting his daughter.
"He admitted to doing it when no one was around," she said.
She said he slept next to the child's crib in another room.
"He said the reason why he wanted her to sleep in there was so I could get my sleep," she said.
Shannon Sorah said her husband had beaten her and their 2-year-old son, but she never imagined he could rape the baby.
"He's had problems. He needs help. He's sick. He's sick in a perverted way," she said through tears.
The baby's uncle, James Carpenter, said he never suspected anything.
"He's never really worked a job or anything. He's just a bum, basically. I never thought he was a child molester," Carpenter said.
Sorah was arraigned Wednesday on rape and child endangering charges and is being held in the Clermont County jail on $500,000 bond. He could be sentenced to life in prison if convicted, Roy reported.
"I don't want anything to happen to him, anything bad, but he deserves it right now," his wife said.
Milford police said they discovered the crime after two women called paramedics to examine the baby.
Paramedics and police found scarring and other signs of abuse on the infant.
A later exam later revealed the rape, police said.
The baby will be turned over to Protective Services when she recovers, Roy reported.

When my son was born and was so tiny and fragile I was almost afraid to hold him. I was always so concerned about protecting that lil' noggin of his.
That some individual would even think of *I can't think of a word that would do this justice* to an infant makes me fear for this world.

Hypocrites? Not at all. God gave a long list of punishments for people who commit crimes. In this case he would die for his crime. Jesus warned anyone about hurting children too.
I don't feel like a hypocrite. In fact, I'd gladly pull the trigger on this guy. OK, I guess I'm just a meanie. LOL! I think the magnitude of this crime plus the fact that he previously beat his 2 year old, really tells us what needs to be done to this animal.

Oh, sorry. Yes there were some posts here about a year or so ago about the superstition in Africa that having sex with a baby cures Aids. They said that there were hundreds of cases of it. There was also mention of surgery needed to repair the damage on some of the poor babies. It really taints my whole opinion of the entire continent when I hear of such things.

IMHO, that would be a mere slap on the wrist compared to what this sick pervert truly deserves.
I've always been a bit iffy about the death penalty.
However, I'm becoming more and more convinced that it would be appropriate for rapists and molesters - people whose victims and those who love them suffer for decades and often become a burden on society due to psych trauma.
This is true. But we still need to give him the chance. That's why I always pray for these sort of people (that is, people who hurt other people) "save them and change them, or if they won't be saved and changed, kill them before they hurt any others."
There are some crimes that deserve physical death but no crime that deserves no chance of spiritual life.

My Gynocologist once gave an impromptu tubal-ligation to a welfare mother right after giving birth to her 10th child. OOPS. He did get in some trouble, but not much. Claimed she had medical problems and needed it done.
I would truly just love to beat stupid women like this one. He beat their son and her, but she brings another youngin' into the nightmare anyway. She doesn't have enough brains to fill a thimble.

Ditto that. A creep like that should never be trusted in the streets, no matter how nice he seems to become one day. Therefore, why bother to rehabilitate? Death is the only solution. A month to ponder his sin and consider his immortal soul.
