BREAKING NEWS! Massive Unrest in Iran following soccer victory - PLEASE SPREAD THE NEWS

DoctorZin’s SPECIAL REPORT!

Iran won an important soccer victory that assures they will play for the World Cup.

This has led to massive celebrations and unrest throughout Iran.

The pro-democracy forces in Iran make good use of such celebrations as it is difficult for security forces to manage the massive crowds.

The inability of the security forces to deal effectively with the anti-regime demonstrations only encourages other Iranians to join them.

This is likely to strengthen pro-democracy forces for the battles of the coming weeks.

The mainstream media is again largely ignoring these events.

I believe international reporters in Iran are ignoring these reports because the fear losing their press credentials.

Please spread the word so Iranian bloggers will know that the world is watching!!!Here is a sampling of our reports.

Reuters reported that, Iran Police were on Alert Before World Cup Qualifier Match. We reported that if the regime cracks down on anti-regime demonstrators it risks angering the Iranian people. If the regime does nothing, it encourages people to demonstrate. Either way, this is great news for the Iranian people.

Following the 1-0 victory people throughout Iran took to the streets.

The first reports were via live radio broadcasts:

Radio Sedaye Iran, Hat Tip to the FREEPER persiandissident.

On the PHONE Live, I am transcribing:

· People are dancing in the streets of Iran and screaming "Down with dictatorship."

· It's like a wedding.

· In Tehran traffic completely stopped.

· People are leaving the cars and dancing.

· Tearing up campaign posters....

Karaj....

· People everywhere....

· Laughing, dancing...

· NO ELECTION POSTERS left anywhere ....

· No police, bassji , so people dancing....

· He wants to walk towards the prison....

Announcer:

· The former Shah’s son, Reza Pahlavi, going on a 3 day hunger strike...

· You can hear people on the phone.....

· Cars completely stopped and are walking...

· Burning posters being found...

· People "guns, tanks, no use" screaming against candidates....

· Karrubi, Rafsanjani pictures ablaze....The next reports came from the Student Movement:

Iranians are shouting nationalistic slogans or destroying the advertisements made by regime's candidates for the upcoming sham Presidential elections.

Then the reports came in that the Soccer celebration turned political.

This has led to clashes with the regimes security forces.

I have many more reports and will continue to post reports as they come in. It will be a long night in Iran. DoctorZin

You're welcome......and nice profile page. You also speak the truth.

God bless you......and may God bless the people of Iran.

By the way......I sort of have a reputation here on FR as a "hard guy" and I despise Islam. There are bound to be some who are floored by RightOnline defending Iran. I hope they learn the truth....and I hope they also visit your profile page. Great country and great people you have there.

....and never, EVER forget that there are a LOT of us in the West who are with you, especially Americans. You have been terrific allies in the past and, to my mind, still are.

Now go kick some ass and regain your country, young man. :)

(but stay safe)

"I think we will never forgive 'Carter' for his dirty deeds, he is one of the main reasons for all miseries of Iran and the USA in the past 27 years!!!"

Thank you, Xerxes, for the photos of the demonstrations in your country. And what a really great 'home page' you have here on FR! I read every word, and I agree with what you say about Carter. It is true, Carter was primarily responsible for the 'regime change' allowed the mullah's to gain political control in Iran. The stupid peanut farmer from Plains, GA couldn't even pronounce the name of your country correctly - he always said 'I-ran (eye-ran)'.

I know only a little of the history of your proud country, some of it from the Bible. Daniel was a 'captive' in Persia, and it was Darius who was tricked by his ministers into having to throw Daniel into the Lions Den. Daniel was given authority after that, under Darius. Darius ruled the Medes and Persians. Was Darius a Mede or a Persian? And what is the difference? Who were the Medes?

I and many others of us here in the United States wish you and your people well in your zeal to eventually overthrow/depose the mullahs. Some 230 years ago we threw the British out, and my great, great, great, great grandfather was one of those who helped dump tea in Boston harbor, an act that told the British they were no longer welcome. Perhaps the actions today in Iran will be like that Boston Tea Party was then - the basis for a battle cry to freedom!

Well there's certainly precedent for that.

Lebanon.

Lebanon has been loosely and poorly governed for decades. The mullahs still have tight control of a very potent and vicious army.

I know people would complain about having George Washington talking in a Iranian thread, however, I think it is appropiate.

These men won't be defeated by street demonstrations of citizen unhappiness.

Did you see any unhappy faces in the pix? This is a celebration of a soccer victory, a game. This is not Tianamin Square.

Someone on Brit Hume's show last night (I think it was Brit's) said that there are people demonstrating on the streets of Iran all the time and we're not doing anything to help them. What's going on with this administration? I'm confused. Of course, the MSM has ignored it all. You NEVER see it on any program, even FOX's programs. Hmmmmm.

And Bill Pryor, too. It will be interesting to see if Bush's other nominees are given the chance.
