NewsMax has learned that a new book about Hillary Clinton is being rushed into print months ahead of schedule and Vanity Fair magazine will soon publish an excerpt of the work.
Publishing insiders say the book and its revelations could destroy her bid to run for the presidency in 2008.
The tell-all book by Edward Klein, "The Truth About Hillary: What She Knew, When She Knew It, and How Far She'll Go to Become President," was originally slated for publication in September.
[Editor's Note: NewsMax will be among the first to offer this book reserve your copy Click Here Now.]
But the publisher, the Sentinel imprint of the Penguin Group, has moved up the publication date to June 21 due to the "intense interest and speculation" generated by several media reports on the book, Sentinel spokesman Will Weisser told NewsMax.com.
Vanity Fair will beat the embargo with a special excerpt due out June 5, a source close to the publisher said.
The Drudge Report sparked interest in the book with an online story quoting a source close to author Klein as saying, "The revelations in it should sink her candidacy."
The online report created a storm of interest in "The Truth About Hillary" on talk radio, the Web, and cable chat shows.
MSNBC's Joe Scarborough claimed, "Its contents are top secret, but the sources say the revelations inside could torpedo Hillary Clinton's chances at a run at the White House."
The Washington Times followed with a report claiming the book will make new, nasty revelations about Hillary.
"Rumors that the book 'won't be pretty' and is brimming with 'new dirt' have circulated in the New York press for the past four months," the Times said.
The book's sensational revelations about Sen. Clinton may be difficult for her spin operation to torpedo.
Klein is no conservative hatchet man. He's the former editor in chief of The New York Times Magazine and author of the "The Kennedy Curse," "Farewell, Jackie" and several other best sellers.
Klein came under fire, however, for "The Kennedy Curse," a book about JFK Jr. that delved into the personal lives of John and his wife, Carolyn, detailing extramarital affairs and drug use.
A source familiar with Klein's book said his Hillary book will similarly offer a rare and provocative glimpse into the personal lives of the Clintons.
Promotional material released by the publisher of the 336-page Hillary Clinton book states: "Just as the Swift Boat Veterans convinced millions of voters that John Kerry lacked the character to be president, Klein's book will influence everyone who is sizing up the character of Hillary Clinton."
The promo discloses that Klein "draws on rare access to inside sources to reveal what Hillary knew and when she knew it during her years as first lady, especially during her husband's impeachment.
"It will also prove that she lied to America in her best-selling autobiography 'Living History.'"

Edward Klein is a well-known editor, writer, and lecturer with a distinguished career in American journalism.
As editor-in-chief of The New York Times Magazine for eleven years, 1977 to 1988, Mr. Klein led this flagship publication of the Sunday Times to new heights of public interest and editorial excellence. During his editorship, The New York Times Magazine won the first Pulitzer Prize in its history.
In 1989, Mr. Klein became a Contributing Editor of Vanity Fair. Among his many well-received articles are stories on Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, and on Aristotle Onassis's granddaughter, Athina Onassis Roussel.
In addition, Klein has written a number of cover stories for Parade, the Sunday magazine with a readership of 83 million, on such important figures as Jesse Jackson, Barbara Bush, and former President Ronald Reagan. For the past several years, he has written a weekly column for Parade called "Walter Scott's Personality Parade".
Klein began his career in journalism as a copy boy for the New York Daily News while attending Columbia University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree. He earned a master's degree from the Columbia Graduate School of Journalism and was awarded a traveling fellowship to Japan. He learned to speak Japanese with some fluency as a foreign correspondent in Asia for United Press International. Upon his return to New York, Klein joined Newsweek, where he became Foreign Editor and then Assistant Managing Editor with Jurisdiction over foreign and military affairs.
She won't be the nominee.
The slope is just too steep.
I'm sure the pub strategists would rather not have her taken out just yet, though. Better to let her absorb the attention and money that a more viable candidate might get over the next couple of years.
She can be taken down almost at will, why do it now?
I would think that VOLUMES could be written about Hitlery, her crimes, her complicity, her Marxism, her lies, her incompetence and absolute lack of qualification to be President, her anti-Americanism, her anti-miltarism, her fanatic lust for power, etc, etc.
Volumes.
This always sounds too good to be true .. .. ..
His great MSM credentials lead me to smell a "Witness for the Prosecution" scenario here. First, a lot of pre-publication hype about how this will sink Hillary's career.
Then, some deliberate glaring error(s) is discovered, enabling the MSM to discredit the whole book. Remember how it was leaked that Bill Clinton walked out on his grand jury testimony? Then, the video comes out, and voila -- nothing of the sort happened.
Look at how the MSM reacted to Gary Aldrich and the Swift Boat veterans.
This is so right out of the Clinton and MSM playbook that I'm surprised anyone here takes this pre-publication hype seriously.

she can bloviate for hours about anything and everything that doesn't require any thought, she can talk about all manner of things existential, but can NEVER, EVER, give you a direct answer on any question of import... especially if it is as simple as a YES or NO answer!!! those she seems to have the most trouble with.
Hillary is Hysterical in the Wall Street Journal Box Score of her Congressional Travel Office Probe. In her affidavit, the DNC declared Smartest Women in the WORLD said: I do not recall/I cannot recall 21 times I do not believe 9 times I have no knowledge/I have no first-hand knowledge/I have no personal knowledge 7 times It is possible/It is quite possible that I had/ It is possible that I may have 4 times I simple dont know/I dont know/ I do not know how/I do not know what 4 times I believe 3 times I may have spoken 3 times I have no specific recollection 2 times I may have expressed the view 2 times I cannot identify 2 times I do not know for certain/I do not know how 2 times
Ha! If there is anything the Clintons have taught me , its that the left is EVIL. Among her people the more dirt you find on her the HIGHER her ratings will go! To treat her followers like they are merely some misguided fools who will come around if you merely show them the truth is to mistake their true nature.
I had a smidgen of hope with the Rosen trial, what a joke that turned out to be....
save to read illustrative FReeper comments...;)
Once again, God bless em, Newsmax engages more in wishful thinking than fact. This book like all the rest of them, won't keep Hillary from running for president, I just hope it doesn't give false hope to fine folks who haven't already been through the Hillary wringer.
It's been floating in the sewers of the media since week one of May. What a great opportunity, this will sell. While the top clowns continue to make fools of themselves, Hillary's middle of the road no comment/lurking routine is about to be blotched.
"This always sounds too good to be true .. .. .."
My reaction. If its true, great! But I still have to be a little cautious.
This guy has Lefty origins. His bona fides for bringing down a Liberal relate to JFK---decades after the fact.
Dose this book talk about Ron Brown & Vince Foster's murders, hypodermic needles on the Christmas tree, Alldrich's ignored book and info?
Or is it a "fake destruction" of Hillary, only talking about things like, "she knew Bill cheated on her."
We'll see.
The entire Hillary Story has been out for a year now, and no one in the MSM, or even the Internet Alternative Media (IAM--ie NRO, Drudge) has mentioned the book, as far as I know. I recommend it:

"This is so right out of the Clinton and MSM playbook..."
Wish I could disagree. I went on a 30-second rollercoaster of joy there before I realized it is probably something like this. Then I read your post, which compelted the reality-connection process. Killjoy! ;)
