The Taliban, Saddam, Nazis and many other governments fell because of war with other nations.

The taliban was not a government saddam was a tyranicle dictator not a government the nazi party was a half assed government bent on world domination by a madman if you want to recognize that as a true governmet i guess you could of sorts but i think the nazis were just world racists .

Running things like a government and actually being one is 2 different stories .

How long has America been around compared to most countries? We're toddlers compared to India, Egypt and China. We have our problems-serious ones, and we need to deal with them. But I'd say we have a few more centuries to go before we start planning our own funeral.

Please pardon my bringing Christianity into the American equation, but Jesus said that the foundation of the church was the understanding that he is the Messiah. And the gates of hell will never be able to overwhelm a church that is based on that foundation. As long as the church is in America, America will always come out on top.

The wake up call is what we're getting now. Political apathy is inexcusable after 9/11. The reelection of George Bush is evidence that Christians are getting involved and returning to their foundation. Remember, freedom to worship Jesus Christ is an integral root of America's beginning. And America has been for it's history the biggest preacher of the gospel and sender of help to hurting nations. The more the devil shows his face through abortion and homosexuality, the more Christians will respond and take things back.

Seems to me this topic came up in a recent not-too-widely circulated editorial. Looks like such things are being considered in wider circles than was first supposed.

This article could have been written at any point in American history. The country has been failing since day one.

The difference between the US and the rest is that we can correct ourselves, adapt, and adopt, fix and move on. It's our strength, which folks on this thread are convinced is weakness. Total silliness.

We will fall the same way Rome fell - to corruption and self-absorbtion. Another nation will take up the mantle of defending civilization from the facists, socialists, and barbarians. As it stands, the only hope I see is from India.

I posted this theory of mine a number of times:




I'm a believer of Christians standing united, it's not only religion that is at stake, but Western Civilization itself, Roman civilization was based on paganism, and so when it was replaced with Christianity, the empire crumbled because although Christianity is far superior of a religion, it still meant that Rome lost the social fabric that held it together.

WRT to modern times, Christianity is being replaced by secularism within, and Islam without, and once the West loses it's central tenet, along with other factors of course, it will collapse, and Western Europe and North America, and indeed the entire World will experience another dark age.

The most telling thing that what I predict will happen, is not so much the internal strife of our civilization, but the rise in international terrorism. Terrorists are the new barbarians, Osama is to the West what Attila was to Rome.

Barbarians, like terrorists, are opportunists, and all opportunists prey on the weak, to some degree. Barbarians saw a weakening empire, and plundered it, and likewise today, terrorists see a weakening West and attack it. Of course they also are attacking us because open societies are sitting ducks in the eyes of criminals of all persuasions, but a century ago we also had open societies, but little terrorism, because we were still strong.

To conclude international terrorism is the symptom, rather than the disease, and so therefore The War on Terror is the painkiller rather than the treatment, the man in the cave in the Afghan-Pakistani border would have to kill us all before he'd win, Westerners are the biggest threat to the West, as we alone will bring the greatest civilization in history to it's knees, so we must stay strong and we must stay united- Viva La Counter-Revolution.

My father has been telling me that since 1973 about "America not existing" in it's present form by the time I get older. I think he was a generation off, but I think he is correct.

They have taxed us far more than the colonialist were taxed. Sure we have representatation. But so many nincompoop socialist keep voting the same losers in and they keep enacting more, and worse tax laws.

While the U.S. Congress was preparing to impeach him President CLINTON went abroad to declare that all the countries of the world should be all playing on the same level playing field, that there shouldn't be one SuperPower more powerful then the rest = US.

Ex-President CLINTON publically declared that there might not even be an America around in 300 years.

The Enemy is now Within...
and always has been.
