Why would POLISH media types NEED to be filming Russian troops inside RUSSIA???

Now, you know the Russians are fighting the same types of islamics the USA is fighting in Iraq and Afganistan.

I, for one am tired of ANY media trying to undermine the war against islamic terrorists.... whether in Iraq, Afganistan, Gitmo, or Russia.

Why, Poland is helping out in with the USA in the war on terrorism in Iraq. Is the Polish media against that Polish effort in Iraq.... just like our MSM in the USA?

Too bad the Polish media did NOT get permission to film Russian troops. If they filmed Americans troops here in the USA WITHOUT GOVT. permission, they would get in trouble in the USA, as well.

In Russia video recording and all press activities are allowed, unless it's presenting Mr. Putin or Russia in the unfavorable light...

There's a joke about Stalin and his propaganda: The propaganda crew is recording Stalin with children while he's presenting them with candy. One of the boys asks for more. That annoyed Mr. Stalin and he slammed the kid in the face. The director rushed with comment: "And he could have killed him".

After an 8-hour questioning, they had their video cassettes confiscated and were handed over to the Russian Federation security services.

"video cassettes confiscated"?! What an anti-democratic cruelty! These brave journalists should go next to Uzbekistan - our faithful ally. Maybe they will have some unfortunate accident there (after a little torture of course).

Could somebody please explain me a few things:

Fervent attention of Poles in this forum to anything Russian.

Questionable style of "discussions" exhibited by some of the above mentioned persons.

Hey guys, don't you have anything else useful to do? I understand some of you are being paid for your activities here, but I cannot imagine all of you are being paid (am I wrong?).

I really cannot understand what is your problem? Russia even does not border with Poland anymore, except Kaliningrad enclave. There have been lots of past history but everybody had fought anybody else in this world. US invaded and tried to annex Canada, Canadians burnt down the White House. And so what? So why us? My opinion is that you have now much more urgent things to do, like trying to convince your Western neighbors that you are any good for the EU, they seem to think otherwise.

I believe in the freedom of information. The Polish journalists have a legitimate right to report from Chechnya. They did not interfere with military operations and they did not pass anything sensitive, so they have a right to work and tell what's going on there.

Tough place, Eastern Europe. My Mum was robbed at a church in Riga recently.
