Why, Poland is helping out in with the USA in the war on terrorism in Iraq. Is the Polish media against that Polish effort in Iraq.... just like our MSM in the USA?
Too bad the Polish media did NOT get permission to film Russian troops. If they filmed Americans troops here in the USA WITHOUT GOVT. permission, they would get in trouble in the USA, as well.
About three years ago, a Polish film crew was detained near Fort Knox for filming the base's main gates. I think they were doing a documentary on the Gold Vault, but they should have used common sense when taking photos of an American military base in the months following 9-11.
Poland is a member of NATO.

They were not accused of filming troops. They were accused of filming "without permission in the region of troops stationing in North Caucasus". In other words they were found with cameras in a region where the Russians were doing something suspicious.
By the way, why should German, British, French, Italian journalists film American troops in Iraq? Maybe Americans should arrest hem?
