McCain and I are almost on the same page, for once.
He "absolutely" wants to be President...
...and I "absolutely" don't want him to be President.

McCain: I 'Absolutely' Want to Be President He'll have to do it without my vote or money.

McCain has done more damage to the Republican Party than any other single individual I can think of.
I believe he will run for President - as a third Party candidate. And the media will be in turmoil - who do they support him or Frau Clinton?

McCain: I 'Absolutely' Want to Be President Yeah, and I absolutely want to be Pope.
My chances are as good as McCains.

Anyone who sees himself as "qualified to make the world a better place" is definitely NOT qualified to be President. Too much arrogance!

Never. I will never vote for this man, no matter what. I'll stay home if I have to. Never.

I know a certain snowball that has a better chance of surviving than McCain has of becoming POTUS.
He needs a new tea-leaf reader.

Good. I absolutely cannot wait to shatter his dream in the primaries.

Hope he's running as a DUMMIE against the Hildabeast! Surely, the republican party won't support him as a candidate! I know I won't!
To: InvisibleChurch
Yes, please run John. I can't wait to see you go down in flames.
If this guy were to win the nomination, it would be the death of the RP.

Here's what I'm wondering: if McCain decides to run for Prez as an independent (say, after losing a Republican primary)... would he actually pull more votes away from the Democrat candidate or the Republican? Which side would benefit more?
Democrats -love- the guy. So do some squishy Republicans. I really don't know which side would have more squishy members breaking to his camp.

May as well, he's no more conservative than anyone else that's occupied the office in close to 20 years. I think 2008 is shaping up to be one of the funniest Presidential elections in my lifetime.

I'm a conservative Republican.
I am a Reagan Republican.
I have a solid Republican voting record going back over 25 years.
I would NEVER vote for this arrogant, egotistical, liberal, media-sucking up, Constitution-destroying egomaniac - period.
I would rather vote for Hitlery to keep this Judas out of the White House.

If he condems the Democrats if they keep fillibustering judges or if he supports reintroducing the "nucleaur option" in such a case, then I'd consider voting for him. But I'm not going to hold my breath.
