Never. I will never vote for this man, no matter what. I'll stay home if I have to. Never.

So you're only one word away from agreement.

It's the closest we've ever come.

I know a certain snowball that has a better chance of surviving than McCain has of becoming POTUS.

He needs a new tea-leaf reader.

who has had prostate surgery and treatment for melanoma – said his health is "excellent”

The GOP will never nominate this megalomaniac with melanoma.

Hope he's running as a DUMMIE against the Hildabeast! Surely, the republican party won't support him as a candidate! I know I won't!

Why does AZ vote for him?

He ran unopposed in the primary and I'd never heard of the guy that ran against him in the general.

Maybe if someone would decide to really run against him....

Yes, please run John. I can't wait to see you go down in flames.

If this guy were to win the nomination, it would be the death of the RP.

I believe he will run for President - as a third Party candidate. And the media will be in turmoil - who do they support him or Frau Clinton?

Don't kid yourself. The media will never support McCain over Hillary. They just praise and pander over McCain to irritate the hell out of us conservatives.... kinda like fingernails scratching a blackboard.

I'll vote 3rd Party before I give him my vote.

I did that in the last two AZ Senatorial elections.

In '98, I voted 3rd party.

In '04, I wrote in "Alice Cooper." I just could not bring myself to vote for him.

I was a McCain supporter in 2000.

That's a startling admission. But before I cast the first stone, I tried to become a delegate for Governor Moonbeam when I was in college back in 1975, and ended up voting for Carter.

Egad!

Here's what I'm wondering: if McCain decides to run for Prez as an independent (say, after losing a Republican primary)... would he actually pull more votes away from the Democrat candidate or the Republican? Which side would benefit more?

Democrats -love- the guy. So do some squishy Republicans. I really don't know which side would have more squishy members breaking to his camp.

May as well, he's no more conservative than anyone else that's occupied the office in close to 20 years. I think 2008 is shaping up to be one of the funniest Presidential elections in my lifetime.
