You will find that your posts..if they are advocating violence AT ALL probably GET REFFERED to the mods very quickly.
Since you are "newer" (and I will NOT say newbie...because when is NEWBIE TIME over??) anyway..since you are "Newer"...people really don't know if you are serious...AND, even if you are "joking" you will probably STILL get referred to the mods.
An OLD TIME MOLDY OLD POSTER that has been here forever..probably doesn't even get referred...
And that is just the way it is...

And..the rules ARE different...but that's ok too...we "young ins" can learn a LOT from the crusty old folks here...and they are the FIRST to let us know;-)

All in all, FR is such a GREAT place...that it is TOTALLY worth ignoring the inequities if you want to stay...(it is EVEN ALMOST WORTH ignoring the "funnier than British comedy" people...btw I don't like British Comedy either;-)

It was a serious point I was making and no, I am not whining as I stated clearly in my post. Some of you here take yourselves far, far to seriously and think nothing of passing judgment at the drop of a hat (or thread).

It's a forum, folks, it's for fun, and perhaps those of you here who believe the world exists to see your words ought to look into yourselves to try and discover what shortcomings and personal deficiencies exist within your lives that bring you to this conclusion.

Don't take it so personally. I have taken a gander at your posts for as far as I wanted to read and find nothing there to consider you a disrupter.

I myself have been threatened with suspension for checking "activism" in the required posting index once to many times. I just did not know I was a repeat offender. I thought immigration was under there, but now I post NOTHING under activism!! Problem solved! I think it was "the way" I was told I would be suspended, more so than the correction itself. But as I whined then; but reflect now..its no big deal. I find no problem with how Jim steers his ship.

Just move on you had some good posts going for ya..as we can't take things to personally. Don't get drawn into a Chat-type attack mode. Happens all the time the FReeper will have a good post going and then has to put in that "personal dig" to you..yes that gets the blood boiling sometimes, but just don't bother responding.

Got a call from a telemarketer a little bit ago trying to sell a subscription to the NYT.

Told 'em I wouldn't buy their rag to line my bird cage. They asked "why?" so I said, "well, I like my bird."

In true telemarketer style, they still wouldn't take no for an answer, and asked if I had any friends who might like a subscription. So, of course, I said, "No, I like my friends, too."
