There's a special election to fill a safe republican Congressional seat in Ohio's 2nd District on June 14th, three weeks out. State Rep Tom Brinkman is running. Against Pat DeWine. Senator Mike DeWine's son.

Though I do not favor visitng the sins of the father on the son, conservative primary voters who just watched DeWine the Elder throw some fine conservatives under the bus might not be as forgiving. DeWine the Younger is the favorite. If you are a Ohio voter in the 2nd, send me an e-mail as to whether this is an issue, and especially if Tom Brinkman makes it one. You can donate to Brinkman and then send an email to DeWine's son (as I did) telling him it was a "gift" from his father. Its a Republican district, so whomever wins the primary wins the General. Brinkman is conservative and pro-life.

So DeWine thinks the Constitutional Option is dangerous, the Constitution must be dangerous. It is time for all District 2 folks in Ohio that were supporting his son to jump ship.

DeWine's an awful candidate, but Brinkman's not the only alternative -- something like half a dozen or more candidates are vying for the Republican nomination.

It's time we start electing people who will defend the US Constitution. Elect a favorite Son or Daughter who we know will put America First!!

I agree with Hugh that everyone is sovereign. I don't want to be judged on my parents' accomplishments, nor do I want my children judged on mine. However the lack of spine and appropriate genetalia is quite likely genetic and passed on as an inherited trait. In fact, I'm surprised there is a kid at all. Does he actually look like DeWine Sr?

OH GOP -- Taft, Voinovich, DeWine -- none reliable!

The popular George Voinovich was on the Tuesday episode of Jeopardy. The category was "Alphabetically Last," and the contestants had to come up with "Voinovich" as "a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee." No one got this correct, but several seems to recognize Voinovich once Alex Trebek gave the answer. I had forgotten that Voinovich is on Foreign Relations, but that's where he expressed his disenchantment with John Bolton.
