Senator Dewine's son is running against Tom Brinkman Jr. in the republican primary this June 14th. Need I say more?
Tom Brinkman Jr. Is running in a special election June 14th in Ohio's 2nd district against Pat Dewine (Rino Senator Dewine's son). District two is a 'safe' republican district, Pat DeWine is a virulent liberal running as a republican, whereas Brinkman is a solid conservative. Lets send a message to Dewine that we don't approve of his actions in the senate regarding judicial comromises, and limp wristed liberalism at every turn.
We have a rare opportunity to show Dewine and the rest of the rino's what we think of them in less than a month. June 14th we need to destroy Senator Dewine's son Pat Dewine by voting for Tom Brinkman Jr. in the republican primary. Pat Dewine needs to be defeated june 14th so get the word out!
So no one has any evidence that Pat DeWine is a limp wristed liberal?
I find it amazing to read that sort of accusation considering that his primary opponent worked for JOHN FREAKING ANDERSON AND GERALD FREAKING FORD AND BOB FREAKING DOLE!
"Pat DeWine is a virulent liberal running as a republican"
"...facts?"
"Senator Dewine's son is Pat Dewine. After what just went down in the senate, what other facts do you need to know?"
You have given us a 'fact' about Ohio's Senator, and you have established that Pat is his son. You have not established with these answers that Pat Dewine is a 'virulent liberal'. Blood does not make it so. He may in fact be a liberal, but your arguments have yet to establish that.
Check's in the mail if you really are running against the Dewine kid.
Portman's
LOL. Well put.

And mike DeWine has a lifetime rating of 82 from the American Conservative Union, and a 68 for the year of 2004. By way of comparison, Zell Miller's lifetime ACU rating is 73.
Mike DeWine is NOT a liberal. He's a moderately conservative Republican.
As for Pat DeWine... who knows.
The seat is Rob Portman's seat. Portman was named by President Bush as a Trade representative. He figured that since Portman was from a safe republican seat, he could count on a republican being reelected.
Pat DeWine is very anti-2nd amendment, even more than his father. Tom Brinkman is one of the very active members of the Ohio legislature that got the conceal carry passed in Ohio.
I already sent in my donation to Tom Brinkman.

There are more than two candidates in this race. Please stop distorting this by portraying it as one just between these two goofballs.
Brinkman is endorsed by the Gun Owners of America, GOA.
Dynasties don't work in Ohio.
Look how the Tafts worked out.
Hope Brinkman wins.
DeWine should spend some time in the private sector before jumping on the dole. I don't like how this looks.
There are quite a few people running, but if conservatives concentrate on one person - Tom Brinkman has very strong conservative credentials- to support, they have a much better chance in getting that person elected.

It must be the water in Ohio! Looks like the Ohio GOP, while they put Bush over the top in 2004, have lacked good solid conservative candidates for years.
I live in that district. Brinkman is a fave of the NRA. `Nuff said.
I will campaign against philandering Pat DeWine. One weasel DeWine in DC is one too many. Two weasel DeWines in DC is unacceptable.
I am a lifelong resident of the Cincinnati area and live in the district. It amazes me how people who always want to check the credentials of conservatives give Brinkman a pass on the death penalty. This guy is and always has been a buffoon.
I live in Ohio and I agree with you about Mike Dewine.

"I am 100 % pro-life," Brinkman said, noting that applies to abortion and the death penalty.
If that's buffoonary, I'll take it.
No. That is not the buffoonery. I have chronicled his antics before. He may be preferable to Dewine, but the other 9 in the race are preferable to Brinkman.
Any polling data? Is anyone else viable? I remember seeing the list of 9 contained a fair amount of candidates who always run and never win anything.
Here... http://www.jeanschmidt.com/ . That is who I am voting for. It is a Republican district. Even Brinkman could win the general election.
