Can you imagine a male rapist every being given leave to marry his victim? That is how sick this is.I am not condoning this behavior (far from it!) but I think this is a different situation than a rapist marrying his victim. For one thing, the boy was a willing participant. It is considered "rape" because of his age. For another, the act of a male raping a woman is usually about violence, not sex. This was clearly about sex from the beginning.
