Have you seen the NAME list for hurricanes for this year?
Oh good grief. Not already. We just finished hurricaine season; yesterday, I think.
YO ROCKY, LOOOOOOKKKKKKOOOOOOUUUUUTTTTT!
I'm not in hurricane country, but we often get the remnants...like last year -- Hurricane Ivan flooded out my area.
We still haven't recovered from last season. I'm not looking forward to this one.
Anyway, thanks for the heads-up.
Except for this one.
Life in the trenches of FL.
That is rare. Extraordinarily early, too. I suppose it would get a new name if it made it across to the Caribbean?
Local reports here in Florida say that when it passes over the mountains of Central America, there won't be much left of it
My sister sent me this email this AM. She lives in the mountains of Honduras, pretty much in the storm's path. Here's her weather outlook according to local internet. Notice no word of a tropical storm or hurricane, LOL.

Not looking good for Cayman! What do you hear from your daughter?
Building suppliers have got to be at the bottom of this! It's got to be an evil plot to create building supply shortages and drive up prices even higher. STOP IT! I need to finish building my house before I can't afford to live in it anymore!
Have you got the ping list together yet?
I'm still incredulous we're talking about this so early.
Dang - I guess I need to get my hurricane tracking map out. Seems like it's too early for this.
Always considered anything before the second week in August an early one.
The peak is usually last two weeks of August and first two weeks of September.
I wouldn't think the water temp would be warm enough to support one.
I didn't even think hurricane season officially opened till sometime in June.
This doesn't bode well for what looks like a looooooooog season ahead of us.
We may get some peripheral showers in the southern part of the state, but Florida can use all the water it gets (within reason, LOL)
