WASHINGTON -- After Howard Dean last weekend declared Tom DeLay ought to be in jail, a longtime Democratic operative told me the party's national chairman had momentarily ripped off his muzzle but that it soon would be restored. My source erred, however, in believing that Dean ever had been muzzled. It's just that nobody has paid much attention to his rants.
Since his election as chairman of the Democratic National Committee [DNC] on Feb. 12, Dean has studiously avoided most national television exposure. But he has been talking constantly to party gatherings across the country, and his intemperate language at these outings contradicts the notion that he has been kept under control. That he will leap onto the national stage Sunday by accepting a long-pending request to appear on NBC's "Meet the Press" with Tim Russert raises concern among the Democratic political players whether he will contain himself.

LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh my gosh; I laughed out loud. That's so great!
What? Dean didn't lisp enough?
This begs the question: Tim WHO? **S**
Yes, it certainly does and I almost posted just that. :-)
we used to see mcawful three maybe four times a week the dems need to put dean on tv at least that much
When Barney Franks, BARNEY FRANKS, for crying out loud, goes on T.V. and condemns Screamin' mimi Dean, you know that things are bad.
1. Dean's fundraising through the internet was some sort of scam to cover the money Soros pumped into his campaign. My theory is that it was done through dummy credit=card accounts automatically directed to donate an amount below the threshhold requiring personal information.
Notice how Dean's campaign would announce a "challenge" and suddenly they would get a lot of donations? Notice how Kerry started getting internet money when Dean's computer guru went to work for him? Now that the campaign is over (and Soros has gone on to other ways of pumping money to left-wing causes), Dean amazingly can't raise any money.
2. Dean is being set up by Russert. Since he is supposedly a "friendly" venue, Dean will not be expecting the rabid attack he will receive. Melt down will occur, and an emergency meeting of the DNC will restore McAwful.
Now I will go make myself a second cup of coffee .
Dean has not always kept himself faithful to the Democratic message. On Feb. 23 at Cornell University, he blurted out that Social Security benefits -- if the system is left unchanged -- 30 years from now will be 80 percent of what they are now. That was a shocking departure from the party line that nothing has to be done. Now if the GOP chairman were going around the country mouthing off like that.....But the only place that Dean's Social Security departure appeared was in the Cornell Daily Sun, the student newspaper. His limited exposure generally means that little of what he says is communicated to the public.
Is it too early to say how much I hate the MediaCrats?!!
There can no longer be any doubt. Howard Dean is a stealth Conservative, doing our work from inside the Dim's own party.
Recruited as a college freshman soon after the '64 Goldwater fiasco, by a secret, elite think-tank of far-seeing conservative intellectuals, he has worked his way up the liberal ladder, studying intensely their psychology, methods and motivations. He has never blown his cover. Let us all wish him continued success.
YEEAAGH!
Holy Sh!t!! Man I am gonna wake up the kids with a posting like that! LOL. (Allen/Delay 08? Not bad. Not bad at all.)
"I've resisted pronouncing a sentence before guilt is found," Dean said. "I still have this old-fashioned notion that even with people like Osama, who is very likely to be found guilty, we should do our best not to, in positions of executive power, not to prejudge jury trials. . . ." Link
Here you go Jane..Dean on a talk show...this should be fun.
He'll probably be alright on this show (due to the counseling of his none-too-restrained-themselves RAT cohorts). He may be alright on the next show (same reason). But sometime after the Dims relax about having him go on national TV.......ZOWWWWW!!
He'll say something racist, stupid, inflaming etc. He can't help himself, it's simply who he is.
Heck with them, they picked him. All choices have consequences, so they can suck on that choice for awhile...
