OK, I am up early and ready to put forth my tin-foil theory for the day. There are two parts:

1. Dean's fundraising through the internet was some sort of scam to cover the money Soros pumped into his campaign. My theory is that it was done through dummy credit=card accounts automatically directed to donate an amount below the threshhold requiring personal information.

Notice how Dean's campaign would announce a "challenge" and suddenly they would get a lot of donations? Notice how Kerry started getting internet money when Dean's computer guru went to work for him? Now that the campaign is over (and Soros has gone on to other ways of pumping money to left-wing causes), Dean amazingly can't raise any money.

2. Dean is being set up by Russert. Since he is supposedly a "friendly" venue, Dean will not be expecting the rabid attack he will receive. Melt down will occur, and an emergency meeting of the DNC will restore McAwful.

Now I will go make myself a second cup of coffee .

This really p'd me off:
Dean has not always kept himself faithful to the Democratic message. On Feb. 23 at Cornell University, he blurted out that Social Security benefits -- if the system is left unchanged -- 30 years from now will be 80 percent of what they are now. That was a shocking departure from the party line that nothing has to be done.

But the only place that Dean's Social Security departure appeared was in the Cornell Daily Sun, the student newspaper. His limited exposure generally means that little of what he says is communicated to the public.

Now if the GOP chairman were going around the country mouthing off like that.....

Is it too early to say how much I hate the MediaCrats?!!

Can I share that tin foil hat

I think there was a lot of money laundering going on with those Internet challenge goals .. and it wasn't coming from just Soros

He was open about giving out money ... many of the 527's weren't

Now that the campaign is over (and Soros has gone on to other ways of pumping money to left-wing causes), Dean amazingly can't raise any money.

This is just part of the scam. All the money the DNC is "not raising" is going to MoveOn and the other 527s, where it's much easier to use it for all sorts of illicit purposes, and where funds from questionable sources can be much more easily laundered. The DNC still gets full benefit from the money, however.

Also, this lets the Dims play up their underdog and "little guy" status. They can cry poverty and claim that the big bad evil Republicans are taking in all the "special interest money" to sell our "democracy" down the river.

Dean is being set up by Russert. Since he is supposedly a "friendly" venue, Dean will not be expecting the rabid attack he will receive. Melt down will occur, and an emergency meeting of the DNC will restore McAwful.

Little Timmy will be on his best behavior Sunday. I'm sure he's already rehearsing his DNC-prepared script of softballs, as is Dean.
