JACKSONVILLE, FL -- Scott Thomas' mother tells FCN his wife plans to put him in hospice and remove his feeding tube if she gains custody of him in two weeks.
In the two conversations FCN has had with his wife, she would not confirm those are her plans.

>>>I'm a little curious about how Scott became disabled. The linked story doesn't give that detail.
Here are the two threads that came earlier on Scott Thomas...
You should find most answers in either of these.

This is the previous story. Again we can ask Why no investigation at the time? There is reportedly an investigation underway.

According to Patton, Liza says Scott fell in the kitchen, but doctors tell Scott's mother his injuries are consistent with a head trauma, not a fall.
Whether Liza gets control is up to a judge, but until then, Scott's room sits ready.
"If his wife doesn't want him to live, then just let him go because we want him," said Patton.
Scott does not have a living will.
Liza would not comment Monday.
Yes we do. Locals are praying. Is there a prayer thread here on FR?
The video shows mom (and a helper) wheeling Scott on the sidewalk which appears to be outside the Rehab. As mom explained the cast on the left arm which is to prevent the arm from drawing up, I thought of dear Terri who wasn't afforded such care.
I've notified FUE since I think that he/she has the most recent ping list.

I thought the same thing! Poor Terri didn't have a gripping device either, which gave her that drawed up look. That look helped half the country think 'I wouldn't want to live like that' and thought the government was 'doing the right thing'. Trouble is, most people who say 'I wouldn't want to live like ...' would change their minds if they got in that situation. The will to live is greater than we think.
Thanks for the ping.
I noticed on the video how the news anchor said, "There seem to be signs of life..." A beating heart, period, is a sign of life. He shouldn't have to give a thumbs up to prove it.
You're right!
I still can't believe all the statutes that were trampled in her case.
Yet we were told time and time again how much Michael took care of her, how he DEMANDED that she receive the best care possible. And there she was, evidence that he didn't.
Amazing how society has now defined "living". Maybe we ought to send Lindy some feedback...

Has she been to the Sen Jim King school of "quality of life determination"?
That link isn't working. Can you try again?
Thank you
The common excuse is that American women don't make good wives. The men who seek foreign brides, want a woman who is more obedient.
I didn't get a reply to my email to Glenn Beck, however I read his newsletter this morning, and he featured Scott Thomas.
No problem
Can you post it?
They want a woman who is more obedient? That is a laugh. Well, they are welcome to what they get then. A woman who will use them as a meal ticket to get over here, and then take them for their money.
You get what you pay for, as my mother has always told me.
I am glad to see this story is generating so much talk. I see my e-mail address has been posted - lthackston@first coastnews.com - and please, feel free to write.
I know there are many unanswered questions. Because there are lots of legal issues with this case, and no official police investigation, we must choose our words very carefully when reporting.

I don't know how to add a message to the OHIO page:
http://www.freerepublic.com/perl/profiles?location=83
but I see you four are on it. Could one of you
add a message there, asking if ANYONE knows how to contact
Ohian from Florida please?
We all miss her, and are hoping she is OK. She's been
abruptly AWOL for a very long time.
Thanks
FUE
