I found some articles that said some hospices may "not" accept you if you have a feeding tube. It appears that there is a movement within the medical community to do away with some life sustaining measures. IOW you're going to die eventually so why prolong the process?
Did you know that there is actually a Church of Euthanasia? The pic on their homepage is abhorrent!!
What still bothers me a lot is that words are being redefined by the pro-death force. For example, how many times did you hear "Terri isn't being starved she's being allowed to die." Since when is taking someone's food and water 'not' starving them?
Me, either. I don't think spouses or any family member should have the right to end lives if there is no medical directive, and there is another family member willing to take over guardianship and take care of the handicapped person.
