HILL AIDE'S FUND TRIAL DEBUGGED
By KENNETH LOVETT
May 18, 2005 -- LOS ANGELES In a courthouse shocker, Sen. Ted Kennedy's brother-in-law won't be asked about a conversation he secretly recorded for the FBI when he testifies today against Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton's former chief fund-raiser, a prosecutor revealed yesterday.
"The government does not intend to introduce the tape or elicit any testimony about that conversation," federal prosecutor Peter Zeidenberg told a judge before the trial of ex-Clinton fund-raiser David Rosen resumed yesterday after a four-day break.
While Zeidenberg did not mention Kennedy's brother-in-law, Ray Reggie, by name, he told Judge A. Howard Matz that he expects to call a witness today who wore a wire for the FBI during a conservation with Rosen in 2002.
Two sources confirmed that the witness will be Reggie, a New Orleans Democratic operative who worked undercover for the FBI for 21/2 years on several probes.
Reggie secretly taped Rosen at a 2002 Chicago dinner, during which the former Clinton aide admitted that a star-studded Hollywood fund-raising gala in 2000 for Clinton may have cost far more to produce than he reported, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune.

I'll bump that bump!
Me thinks Her Thighness is starting to sweat ^-^
Are you suggesting that the mining of FBI files ended when the grifters left office?
Thanks for the article. From the tone of Mr. Paul's letter it looks like the Clinton's might have to resort to plan 'B' ... threaten the safety of his family.
I commend those who do but it appears that most who could call either of the Clintons to account for their criminal activities are very aware of being subject to arkancide, an arkccident or sudden family member death syndrome.
Hillary sweat? Here is what the prosecutor Peter Zeidenberg had to say about the trial: "You kidding me? A scandal that tarnishes Hillary Clinton will receive 'intense media attention'? In what universe?" You can read whatever you want from the quote, but it seems to me that Zeidenberg is working to make his prediction come true. In sum, he is just another yellowbelly federal prosecutor.

Not specifically.
What I am suggesting is that based on the way these two shysters skate on seemingly substantive issues i.e. Clintoons failures pre-9/11, the Sandy Burglar issue, this case and others it would seem few people if any are ready to hold them accountable and one has to wonder why that is.

If the prosecution discloses that they will not introduce the tape as evidence, it must mean that they have a lock-tight case against Rosen. The feds will still have two years of tapes to play with, which is going to make a lot of mucky-muck Dems sweat besides Her Thighness Rodham.
I wonder if David Kendall will have any comments on this...
^-^
There seems to be dems sweating over here too: http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1405492/posts

It's not just the State Dept. that is filled with America haters.

Is that a Freudian slip referring to Whitewater figure, David Hale?
Thanks!
