Announcing the citizen movement to elect Dan Quayle in 2008.

America needs strong, simple leadership to overcome the challenges we will face in the future and to maintain the conservative hegemony we have fought for.

Dan Quayle is the best candidate to lead our party after GWB leaves office.

Please visit our website, and join the movement!

All he needs to say is he's a product of public schools and that throughout school he always had high self-esteem. And that he knows about cucumbers and - well, you know!

The sad thing is, "potatoe" is an acceptable alternative spelling.

In before the ZOT? Did the phrase "simple leadership" not raise the red flag of spoof?

What has Mr. Quayle done for America since serving as Vice President - some 12 years ago?

Apparently you haven't heard he spelled "POTATO(E)" correctly....;-)

I'd vote for the guy. I don't know that enough other people would.

Where does he stand on immigration reform?

Which federal responsibilities does he plan to return to the states?

Does he plan to grow the military? Does he plan to shut down more bases?

Is he someone I should get behind or is he just another placeholder?

I was in favor of Dan Quayle in 2000.

Me too. Like Rush said in The Way Things Ought to Be, "DAN QUAYLE IS RIGHT!"

However, I had to face an immutable truth - no matter how much sense the man may make, the media did such a bang-up job sliming him as Veep that he will always be Mr. Potatoe Head to too many voters.

Yes, unfortunately.

Is there a ping list to entertain troll zot observers? If so, I'd love to be on it.
