Announcing the citizen movement to elect Dan Quayle in 2008.
America needs strong, simple leadership to overcome the challenges we will face in the future and to maintain the conservative hegemony we have fought for.
Dan Quayle is the best candidate to lead our party after GWB leaves office.
Please visit our website, and join the movement!

Unles the GOP nominee is either Condi Rice or John McCain, the next president will be Hillary Clinton. If the GOP nominee is John McCain, the next president might as well be Hillary Clinton.

...he will always be Mr. Potatoe Head to too many voters. That's a shame too. I heard Quayle give a speech last fall, (in which he called the election quite accurately,) and which was a model of clarity and lucid conservative thinking. To be honest, while I always liked him and thought he got a raw deal, he exceeded my expectations considerably as a speaker. I think he's living in Arizona now, and hope he's still involved with the GOP.

To be honest, while I always liked him and thought he got a raw deal, he exceeded my expectations considerably as a speaker. Yep, nothing wrong with Dan. Maybe not serious presidential material, but a very good person with solid values. He is a fairly good speaker although in his VP days, Dan did tend to have the deer in the headlights look. I am not sure why this thread was Zotted. The poster was serious, even if Dan has no chance.

The current crop of trolls is too pitiful for words. I think the poster was serious and did not mean to be a troll. Perhaps a bit delusional, but not a troll IMHO.
To: DanQuayleFan
The press railroaded Dan Quayle with 3 second sound/audio bits, but if people watched the debates, Dan Quayle was a great debater and a very intellegent person.
I'd vote for him over 95% of the people running today.

I am not sure why this thread was Zotted. The poster was serious, even if Dan has no chance. I agree, this person doesn't seem to me to be worthy of a zot. I think this person was just being as honest as he could. This was not a troll IMHO...

News, 5/16
I was kicked off of Free Republic today because I posted a link to this website. Apparently many conservatives are so blinded by the media's image of DQ that they are convinced we are joking.
Whatta loser.
