Raul Garcia-Gomez, 19, is suspected of shooting two Denver police officers at about 1 a.m. Sunday after they refused to let him re-enter a baptismal party. Detective Donald Young, 44, died at the scene after being shot from behind three times in the back and head.

They ought to arrest the Mayor. He hired this illegal alien. Not only that, but it's his City that has this "sanctuary law." He should be in jail.

His restaurant apparently knew this guy was illegal, as well, or should have.

If I were the widow, I'd sue the Mayor, and everyone else who owned an interest in that restaurant. I'd sue him for failing to protect my husband by making it illegal to ask these questions. I'd sue him for violating federal law. I'd sue him for wrongful death because my husband was killed on the job. I'd throw the book at him. I'd make an example out of him. I'd take him to the cleaners.

How many millions do you think the jury would tag him with? I'd also sue the City. Their "sanctuary law" is a violation of federal law led to this officer's death.

Mr. Hickenlooper has no involvement in the day-to-day operations of his restaurants and had never heard of Garcia-Gomez before Tuesday, said his spokeswoman, Lindy Eichenbaum Lent."

The Nuremburg defense. Except he's the Fuhrer.

They ought to arrest the Mayor. He hired this illegal alien.

Hickenlooper placed all of his businesses in a blind trust before he took office in July of 2003. He didn't have anything to do with hiring this illegal alien. He should, however, set an example and require that all businesses in the City and County of Denver, including the government, purge their roles of illegal aliens and report them to ICE, starting with his restaurants/bars which are now being run by other people.

If he owned the business, then he hired him whether he knew it or not. And the Nuremburg defense ought not apply.

Mayor "Quisling" has received a polite, to-the-point e-mail from me. I hope he gets thousands of them from all over the country. I reminded him that Denver would soon be Los Angeles, and that Los Angeles is already Mexico. L.A. and Denver are both "sanctuary cities". Big mistake.

Guys like him don't bat an eye at something like "your city will become LA." They think you're a bigot for noticing the decline.
