It was as close to a Buckhead moment as you can get.
I gotta go with the Eason Jordan story....thats just plain ludicrous....
DU lurkers vote on Sunday.
>>Scott Lindlaw and the Associated Press...
My vote.
Rather and CBS has my vote.
I saw that happen so often in the Chicago media. It's my favorite. .... Creating the news.
GI Joe doll story. My fav because even a toddler woulda' been able to bust 'em.
CBS and Dan Rather fabrication/forgery, hands (dirty) down.
My Vote's for the 60 Minutes, simply because of its amazing twists and turns (Livestock Shows, Xerox machines, a certifiable nut, and a Texan who hates Texans? You can't top that.) Not to mention that it brought down Dan Rather.
Tie between Rather and Michael Moore's garbage...
Rather/60 Minutes. Then Koppel's implied treason...
Goebbels would be proud
But I have to cast my vote for the GI Joe doll taken hostage being reported and a real GI. That one really underscores how gullible the fools that so-called "journalism" schools are that are being cranked out today.
My vote:
The Associated Press and Reuters for rushing to publish without verification a propaganda hoax complete with photo that an American soldier had been taken prisoner in Iraq. The 'soldier' turned out to be a toy doll.
The DAN RATHER/ MARY MAPES /CBS NEWS/ 60 MINUTES/ DNC FORGED TANG DOCUMENTS. Because of the audacity of CBS (and the DNC) to try to change a US Presidential Election with a years old, trumped up story to begin with and using FORGED DOCUMENTS while trying to do it. None of the others compares to the sheer arrogance of CBS (and the DNC).
CBS and the GLoB's Porno Pics.
I'm sorry byt Farenheight 911.
I gotta vote for seeBS and Rathergate.
I'll vote for Mitch Albom. He's more of a smacked ass than Rather.
