Does Free Republic and Jim Robinson ban those who disagree with them? asks The Conservative Voice.
Most all of the posters seek "Anonymity" when replying to the question raised on The Conservative Voice website: Is Free Republic Biased?
Nathan Tabor, Senior Editor and webmaster, moderates this running "Topic of the Day" and everyday discussion.
One "Anonymous" poster writes: "Re: Is Free Republic Biased? Biased? Well, since the site is dominated by paid party operatives and federal employees who allow no dissent from the Bush regime's latest political propaganda releases, you could say that it's more a solid, one way amen corner for the neoconservative cabal than a biased website."
Still another "Anonymous" poster writes:"Re: Is Free Republic Biased? They banned me for complaining about losing my career to outsourcing. They taunted and gloated with perverse kitty pictures, infantile cartoons, and guttural remarks that reveal their mentality. The flames fanned by their hatred are now licking at their heels."
ALIPAC also posts the subject: Conservative Website FREE REPUBLIC Mutinies over Bush Comments" and notes: "With reports coming in from around the nation of a split in the conservative base over the Bush amnesty and open borders plans, the nations most frequented conservative website erupted into a mutiny against Bush policies on Thursday. This article below elicited the response. Please take the time to read this article and the comments of many conservatives that are dismayed by Bush's statements about the Minuteman Project on FreeRepublic.com As many of you know, Free Republic had made previous efforts to control the debate by purging immigration reform users."
What seems to be a fledgling conservative based site, The Conservative Voice appears to seek readership through indexed forums dedicated to the Mother Bird herself, Free Republic. If you were wondering what happens to those little birds that fall or are kicked out of the FR nest (which I know you do not, but makes my play on words work); you might find some of them under the Free Republic Indexed forums over on The Conservative Voice.
Or when you stop, as I have.
Guilty as charged.
Present your entrails for disembowlment precisely at 9:00 AM on Monday.
I do contribute. I don't see that as giving me carte blanche to act in any disruptive way I choose.
"It's a fair cop."
Sure, if you like reading the National Enquirer.
What a fan club!
ALIPAC is a one man political action committee run by William Gheen of North Carolina. Nathan Tabor is another political wannabe.
Both claim they are conservative. A word of caution: they both remind me of John Edwards, but they are trying to play the "right wing" instead of the "left wing".
Both have launched FR like websites. (Is it in "competition" or because is it that they crave Jim Rob's control?) Both are naive, but learning quickly.
ROFLOL!
Thank you for the information.
Because *some* of us get a lot of money for stirring things up. Sorreeeee. :-)
So now there's a site with anti-FR stuff on it. Can you imagine how many people at that site are now checking out FR? lol. I don't know much about ALIPAC.
Thanks for the info, TR. Correct me if I'm wrong; but I seem to recall an "article" by William Gheen describing how he and others were "locked/banned/zotted" out of FR? I know nothing about Nathan Tabor. If they are launching FR-like websites, then good. I think they'll find its akin to herding cats. :>
Ping to a nifty gif for your daughters! :)
He's lying. Democrats don't like arms (except maybe for Bill Richardson and company in New Mexico).
My checks are getting lost in the mail apparently...where do I go to correct this?
Don't let the customes agent see you like that, or you're going to Tiajunna for sure!
They didn't even mention your math. They hardly know you.
Ahh..Your True ID, Bart Simpson.
My sincerest apologies oh esteemed citizen. I have diligently followed your instructions and a huge sum is now deposited in the correct account. Thank you so much for your kindness.
