Does Free Republic and Jim Robinson ban those who disagree with them? asks The Conservative Voice.
Most all of the posters seek "Anonymity" when replying to the question raised on The Conservative Voice website: Is Free Republic Biased?
Nathan Tabor, Senior Editor and webmaster, moderates this running "Topic of the Day" and everyday discussion.
One "Anonymous" poster writes: "Re: Is Free Republic Biased? Biased? Well, since the site is dominated by paid party operatives and federal employees who allow no dissent from the Bush regime's latest political propaganda releases, you could say that it's more a solid, one way amen corner for the neoconservative cabal than a biased website."
Still another "Anonymous" poster writes:"Re: Is Free Republic Biased? They banned me for complaining about losing my career to outsourcing. They taunted and gloated with perverse kitty pictures, infantile cartoons, and guttural remarks that reveal their mentality. The flames fanned by their hatred are now licking at their heels."
ALIPAC also posts the subject: Conservative Website FREE REPUBLIC Mutinies over Bush Comments" and notes: "With reports coming in from around the nation of a split in the conservative base over the Bush amnesty and open borders plans, the nations most frequented conservative website erupted into a mutiny against Bush policies on Thursday. This article below elicited the response. Please take the time to read this article and the comments of many conservatives that are dismayed by Bush's statements about the Minuteman Project on FreeRepublic.com As many of you know, Free Republic had made previous efforts to control the debate by purging immigration reform users."
What seems to be a fledgling conservative based site, The Conservative Voice appears to seek readership through indexed forums dedicated to the Mother Bird herself, Free Republic. If you were wondering what happens to those little birds that fall or are kicked out of the FR nest (which I know you do not, but makes my play on words work); you might find some of them under the Free Republic Indexed forums over on The Conservative Voice.
I just found it interesting that the FR Index question popped up as I was finding my way around the site.
And who is this Laz? ( asked about in the FR discussion forums on TCV).
(My Note: it seems much easier to read the whole body of comments on 1-2 pages without registration.)
The Moderator on TCV also has the power to "Lock a Topic" or consider it "Sticky".
Of course it's biased. It's no different from any other enterprise that wishes to control its own private property. What's your point?
Prolific FReeper Lazamataz no doubt.
Right - I wouldn't be here if it wasn't the antidote to the poison we are surrounded with - duh.
(Denny Crane: "Sometimes you can only look for answers from God and failing that... and Fox News".)
It's like asking if NPR, The New York Times, The Washington Post and CNN are biased?
I can't get over the fools who refuse to accept the fact that FR is a privately owned site. The owner may do with it as he pleases, and accepts us in his home out of his hospitality. He has the right to kick us out if we are rude guests.
But seriously now, who is "ALIPAC?" I've seen threads on this person, but can never figure out what's going on.
Really? How come I'm not getting paid like the rest of you guys?
"They taunted and gloated with perverse kitty pictures..."
I'm scared now.
Not to mention Free Trade.
Googlism for: lazamataz

Yes, but spell his name backward and the plot thickens!
Zatamazal! Zat = Zot, a = a, Mazal is very like Mazel, or "Luck" in yiddish. Coincidence? I hardly think so.
